For sale is my 2005 Pride and Joy; a 2005 Yamaha FJR1300. The FJR1300 is such a great motorcycle in my opinion that I just purchased a newer '09 automatic FJR1300AE. I have been shifting motorcycles with only my "pinky finger" for 25 years. (I lost the 3 middle fingers on my left hand when I was a kid) The '09 FJR1300 AE is the PERFECT answer for my issue. Selling my '05 FJR was not planned. The '09 presented itself and all worked out. So I am letting my 2005 go. I am the ONLY OWNER of this bike. My wife and I toured the Eastern U.S. on this Bike. I mention this only because it is important for you to understand this bike has been ridden responsibly with my wife on the back. The bike has never been abused, crashed or damaged. It has been garaged kept and meticulously maintained. I have, however, had to set the bike down while stopped at a scenic overlook. Florida is not known for gravity, but NC gravity beat me twice. Due to my lack of hand strength I had to set the bike down on the left side (while at a dead stop) due to angles and gravity. The scratches are minimal, but I want to disclose all damage to you. The pics show the details on the stator cover. The left saddle bag has been repainted as I tried to fix the scratches where I set the bike down. It is NOT a great paint job, but the functionality is 100%. Other than that the bike is 100%. The bike is fast, comfortable and a joy to ride. That is why a purchased another one. I transferred the tag from the '05 to the '09 and the DMV offered me a temporary tag for $5.00/mos. So this is why you see a "temp tag" on the bike. I am not wanting to put miles on it. As it sits this 2005 Yamaha FJR1300 has: 1) A BRAND NEW Sargent Seat (as of July) 2) 42,000 miles (serviced WITH AMZOIL SYNTHETIC motor oils.
