1982 CB900”C”; Possibly the best quality CB900 on the east coast, if not the entire country, It was a one owner bike until Feb. of this year. The “C” model has the dual speed rear that effectively gives the rider 10 forward speeds, Color is two tone; Candy Muse Red & Brown Metallic. The purchaser bought it after being stored in a heated garage where it sat for 17 years. Since Feb. all systems were gone thru and meticulously disassembled and gaskets, “o” rings, springs and internal parts were all replaced . Fuel was drained and carbs cleaned and rebuild kits installed, brake master reservoirs cleaned and rebuilt,,NEW TIREs and BATTERY were purchased..A battery tender pigtail is installed. Gas tank drained and diverter valve rebuilt. Way too much stuff to list here! The most amazing thing is that there is not one scratch or ding or dent anywhere, All aluminum and cast surfaces have their clear coats,,There is no pitting or rust or oxidation on ANY CHROME OR ALUMINUM! All factory decals are intact with no peeling or fading..All plastic lenses are perfect with no fading or glazing! Also, the bike came with the luggage rack /back-rest combo shown in the photos, as well as a chrome grab bar for the rear passenger. An extra seat is included as well as a factory service manual and an electrical wiring factory addendum..Both books bound in three ring binders. A braided, unopened, rear brake cable is also included. Three extra oil filters and a replacement air filter are included. This is an unmolested factory original that is effectively in museum quality showroom condition! The only Non-original items are a modern tail light module was installed inside the rear tail light that pulses when either brake is applied, and, an additional turn signal is visible inside the tail light that gives an enhanced level of visibility . AND, the vacuum pump mounted above the carbs gave starting and reliability issues , so it remains in place and was rebuilt, but it has been bypassed..The bike starts and runs reliably without the choke. The bike has only 6,266 original miles! Both original keys are included,,All fluids were replaced with synthetics, (see photo) Asking $5,600 FIRM! No low ball offers and i’m not under pressure to sell! No pay pal either! The only trade I will consider would be one, two or three one ounce gold coins! I will not ship!
