I have owned this motorcycle since 1994. I bought in boxes, but the odometer only had 2,890 miles on it. After sorting thru everything the only thing missing was three average bolts. Reconstruction took a couple of years for multiple reasons. During reconstruction a replacement head was purchased for the motor. But I had bike running by 1999 and has been my recreational rider ever since. Bike is about 99% original (only non-original is replacement head). For those unfamiliar with bike it is 900cc four cylinder inline with shaft drive. Unique to this bike is the 5 speed transmission with a High/Low shifter on the shaft drive (from my research was only made 1980-1982). At this time bike only has 10,360 miles on it. I have an aftermarket sissy bar/luggage rack for as well. The reason for selling it is that I recently purchased a much newer bike to ride. It is currently registered and inspected, ready to ride.
The model is a CB1000 Custom but this site didn't list it...Only built one year..7800 original miles...I'm the original owner..shaft drive..triple disc brakes..adjustable air suspension...adjustable anti dive frt suspension..high/low range gear selector (twin stick) both tire have been replaced with oe Dunlap white pletely original..
