The adjustable fuel injection system uses a 44mm throttle body fed by a high-pressure battery-less electric fuel pump. This ensures optimum fuel atomization and air/fuel calibration for excellent rideability in a wide range of riding conditions. The system controls the volume of fuel injected and the ignition timing based on engine rpm and throttle opening, providing hesitation-free response and controllability. The compact wet sump lubrication system with piston cooler spray jet maintains excellent engine durability and eliminates the need for an oil tank, which lowers engine weight. This creates a more compact engine that contributes to mass centralization and unmatched handling. The large diameter 22mm front axle and top triple clamp increases rigidity for excellent handling and front end feel. The handlebar mounts are rubber mounted to improve comfort and reduce handlebar vibration. The air filter is positioned away from the rear wheel which means less maintenance for the rider.

The fuel-injected 2016 YZ250F offers excellent power and amazing cornering performance thanks to exhaustive mass centralization efforts and a compact chassis design. For '16 we have made a number of detail improvements to the piston, piston pin, crank, clutch and transmission. On the chassis side we have installed a larger 270 mm front disc brake, and revised the suspension settings. The YZ250F has the response and depth of power that the competition can't match!

2009 Yamaha Yz250f , Like new 2009 Yamaha YZ250F. Only 15 - 20 hours of riding max. Ridden 4 maybe 5 times total. Pro Taper Handle bars. Excel aluminum rims. Ultra wide titanium foot pegs. Tires are original so you can see from the pictures how much it has been driven. I originally bought 2 of them so that I could ride with my son but have since had shoulder surgery so riding days are over. Has not been ridden at all for the past 2 years but has been started.
