This has been my commuter bike for over a decade. I intended it keep it longer, but a good deal on a newer version of this bike became available. It runs well, but has several minor things wrong that I just haven't got around to fixing yet. It is easy to work on (except the carbs) and is a great starter or commuter bike. New Vance/Hines Drag Pipes about three years ago, did a rejet at the same time. Replaced the stator last year. Replaced the rear tire a few weeks ago. Battery is less than two years old. Replaced the front brake pads this year. Minor issues: horn switch doesn't work, turn signal switch is finicky, side covers are missing, small hole in rear header pipe that I keep patched. There is a (very) small leak from the crankcase, the tach window is a little foggy (due to a burnt out indicator bulb once upon a time), and the front tire will need replaced after this riding season. Sounds like a lot, but you don't have to worry about finding out something after you buy it. I'll tell you everything that's wrong with it.
1993 Yamaha Xv750 , Great bike to cruise around town or ride the interstates. Has some speed and is very comfortable. Couple scratches on the bike and fork seals need replacing. Just put a new rear tire on it and new plugs. Just started riding and looking for something bigger. I'm looking to get 2000 obo out of it $2,000.00 3176579081
