2004 Yamaha Wr450f , Selling my street legal WR450F. I'm the second owner of this bike, I've had it since May 2014. The bike is completely stock. It hasn't had very hard miles on it. Previous owner didn't use it very often and I use it to go to work and school which are only a couple miles away. Since I've owned it I've replaced the oil seals, I've changed the oil every 500 miles, air filter is new, battery is new, rear tire has ~100 miles on it and the front tire still has decent amount of tread on it, and I've checked the valve clearance every ~1000 miles. Valves are still well within specifications even after about 3500 miles. The bike still starts up with no issues, even in the cold. The ONLY issue this bike has is the stator stopped working, the battery will not charge after any sort of riding. I did all the tests to pinpoint the issue and it is infact the stator and not the battery or the rectifier. A new stator is ~70-80 dollars but I'm trying to buy a car so I don't want to spend the money on a new one. $2,400.00
