Yamaha 2003 V-Max 1200 with only 6,986 miles.This is an absolute beautiful machine. It had full maintenance performed by Hanover PowerSports in NJ last year. Hanover PowerSports changed all the fluids which include engine oil, transmission oil, rear end oil, front suspension fluid, brake fluid and made all necessary adjustments. This V-Max has never been in an accident or dropped. Clean and clear title in hand. Comes with manual, two keys and stock exhaust. I purchased my 1990 Yamaha V Max from technically the original owner in August of 1992 with only 379 miles on it. So I owned this bike for almost twenty three years and drove it just over 16K miles. It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Every year it starts right up and has done nothing but run perfectly for the many years I've owned it. It has never been in rain and never fallen. I am an older, experienced rider and have always ridden this bike conservatively. This bike is one of the nicest, cleanest and completely stock, V Max's you will ever see. Especially for being a 1990. Included accessories are: a cover, a battery tender, small windscreen, engine guards, tall padded passenger back rest, rack and soft luggage pack. Also included is the factory issued tool kit. Any required maintenance was always professionally performed by a local motorcycle shop. The bike color is listed as black because that is what it appears to be most often. However, I think the factory color name might be midnight blue. In direct sunlight the color is a sparkly metal flake deep dark blue. It has always been stored on the center stand under the included cover and in a garage. The brakes, tires, battery and all fluids are in good shape and do not require immediate replacement. The bike is ready for another season of riding. Like many others, I am now at a point in my life that I just do not ride it enough to justify keeping it. I've ridden it only five times in the last two years. It really kills me to sell it. Notice my eBay ID? Catch me in a weak moment before I change my mind. I'm thinking it just may be time for someone else to enjoy this incredible piece of motorcycle engineering. I hope I don't regret this. This is not a bike for the first-time or beginning rider. This auction is for my 2003 Vmax . It’s got just over 8,800 miles and runs great. I bought it with 5,200 miles on it and haven’t ridden it much due to health issues. In the past 1,500 miles I replaced the tires, changed the fluids and put in new front brake pads. The turn signals were swapped out to allow the use of saddlebags (included) I installed a manual fan switch just in front of the ignition key – which really helps keep the bike running cool in the Summer. I also replaced the battery a two summer sago. The previous owner used to park it outside, and there is some oxidation/pitting on the wheels, scoops, top of the engine casing and on the reservoir covers. (See my photos) The paint is great and except for the comfort accessories below, it is mechanically stock and runs very strong. With my options, the bike is set up as a mini-tourer, so just gas it and go!
