The Yamaha V-Max... a true legend, and with good reason. These bikes are *still* one of the fastest things on the road, even 30 years after they were originally introduced! This particular bike is in very good condition with some tasteful upgrades to enhance its performance, comfort, and looks. Here is a mostly-complete list, although I'm sure I'm missing a few things: Polished R1 USD front forks R1 front brake calipers and master cylinder Braking STX series front rotors Braided stainless lines throughout Stage 7 carb kit (V-boost elimination, awesome lope to the idle and responsive power) 4-1 exhaust (sounds great, and not obnoxiously loud) Custom 17" front and 18" rear wheels (rear is 5 1/2" wide!) 120/70zr17 front tire - new 180/55zr18 rear tire - new Progressive rear shocks Sportmax frame brace (beautiful professional welds) Sportmax seat Marhsall oil pressure gauge Drag bars CRG mirror LED taillight (very bright, easily seen) Hella "Black Magic" headlight Aluminum footpegs This bike is an absolute blast to ride. It is very aggressive and displays a lot of "attitude". Runs great, rides great, shifts properly (no 2nd gear issues), sounds incredible, and of course pretty darn quick. Both tires are new, as is the battery. There is a lot of money invested in this bike! For example, the front brake rotors are $500 all by themselves... rear wheel was $1200... front wheel $800... there's half my asking price in just 3 parts. Things you should know: There is no speedometer or odometer, so the bike will be sold as true miles unknown (can use your GPS as a speedo if you like). The Hella headlamp is a single filament bulb - there is just one brightness setting, not a separate high and low beam. There are no turn signals. The airbox cover is bare metal, you might want to polish it and then clearcoat. Speaking of polishing, you may choose to do some cleaning or polishing here and there. These pictures are current and accurate - it's a great looking bike, just not necessarily ready for a concours show. If you have any questions, please ask them prior to placing your bid. If you are local, or know someone who is, please consider coming to see the bike in person. Different things are important to different people, and while I have tried to describe all important aspects of the motorcycle, it's impossible to cover every last detail. I reserve the right to end the listing early for any reason. Thanks for looking! Terms of Sale Buyer will be responsible for either having the bike shipped, or picking it up in person. I will sell to US buyers only! I expect a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours. Payment in full is due within 5 days, no exceptions. I will accept cash or cashier's check for balance of payment. If picking up the motorcycle in person within the 5 days, I will require the balance due in cash at that time. Please only bid if you are willing to honor it! I know this doesn't need to be explained to most of you, but with all the new users something has to be said. Ebay is not a game, it costs money to list things here, please don't waste my time and money. Thank you!
