1999 Yamaha Roadstar Custom built bobber by Cannonball Custom Cycles. http://cannonballmetalworks.com/portfolio/ Customizations include: King Sportster Gas Tank Custom Shaped Rear Fender and Struts 21" Front Spoked Wheel Chain Conversion Lowered Bub Pipes Springer Seat 16" Handlebars Coffin Floorboards Powder-Coated Parts White Wall Tires with plenty of life left Bobber Small Headlight Sidemount Taillight (Model A Taillight) (just to name a few). Some things you may ask: Why would you do this much to a metric bike? Well, frankly, I like the reliability of the Roadstar, but the look of an old school rat bike... so here you have that. How many miles does it have? I originally purchased the bike with 30k on it. As we've removed the stock tank, which had the speedo/odo, I don't have an actual odometer reading. However, I can guess that I've put approximately 10-15k on it. With the amount of usage I've put on it, changing the oil/oil filter (religiously) every late spring and late fall (with the proper oil for our climate) has been a fitting maintenance schedule. What if your name isn't Matt? Fear not. The pinstriper/painter didn't clearcoat over the tank logo. The gold leafing is the only part that has been clearcoated. Why would you get rid of this thing? Another excellent question :) My wife and I have chosen to adopt a child... which is proving to be very pricey, so unfortunately I have to let go of my baby (until we build the next one), but only to enjoy another kind of baby. Original Owner bike. This Pearl White and Chrome motorcycle is beautiful and runs as good as it looks. I have always serviced it and kept it garaged and covered. Lots of chrome including engine, frame , and more. Has Vance and Hines exhaust, Corbin seats and passenger backrest. Twin Velocity intake. 1700 cc engine runs great. Most miles are freeway and not abusive. It's time for me to quit riding but someone will gain an outstanding bike that needs nothing except a rider. Price is reduce to sell since it is sitting.
