1976 Yamaha RD400 vintage cafe racer with 10,970 miles on the odometer. Clean CA title and registration is up to date. It has a Ducati 900ss style half-fairing and custom gunmetal grey/black paint job with gold wheels and accents (there are a few little cracks in the paint on one side on the tail section where it bolts to the frame). It is a kick-start 2-stroke with oil pump still operational so no need to run premix. Mikuni carbs have been cleaned and rejetted. Has Banshee cross-over tube and the popular Y-boot to a foam air filter. The tach has been mounted in the center just in front of the triple trees with the speedometer tucked down low on the left side near the headlight right behind the fairing. The tank has been coated to prevent rust. It has clip-ons, rear sets, aftermarket chambers with new packing, Shorai lithium battery, and a Joker Machine oil dipstick and magnetic drain plug. The tires are in decent shape, but I would recommend replacing them due to age. Runs and rides great! No test rides without cash in hand. Bike is currently in Garden Grove, CA until Monday. Classic 1978 RD 400In the process of restoring. I need to sell because I am leaving to college and won't have space for it.The bike runs great. Recently road it on from Longbeach to San Bernadino and back. The bike gave me no trouble and cruised at 70 mph. Powder coated frame. Upgraded suspension. Many new parts.
