Very low miles/hours still pretty much brand new. Automatic push button 4x4 with locking differential electric power steering. Tires are barley worn. Used mostly for hunting a little trail riding. First service completed. 847cc liquid-cooled, in-line 3-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve Crossplane Crankshaft engine. This engine combines advanced high tech components including YCC-T® and Yamaha D-Mode, with a crossplane concept crankshaft to deliver an exciting, torquey and quick-revving engine character. Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) is Yamaha's exclusive ride-by-wire throttle system, YCC-T works in unison with the standard Traction Control System (TCS) to give the rider responsive throttle feel with the security of traction control for roads with less than ideal traction. Touring amenities include a height-adjustable windshield, side fairing, adjustable riding position, 12V electrical outlet and a generous 4.8 gallon fuel tank. Radial-mount four-piston front calipers squeeze 298mm rotors for exceptional stopping ability, while the anti-lock brake system (ABS) works to help prevent wheel lock during hard deceleration. LED headlight offers superior visibility. Multi-function dot matrix LCD instrument panel is designed to visually relay data to the rider quickly and clearly, including fuel consumption info and gear position. This is by far the most comfortable bike I have ever owned. Water cooled V4 engine in the V-Max design, this amazing machine has the power and torque to cruise interstates all day long. They will go for 120,000 easily when maintained properly, as Pearl has been. Many Royal Stars have hit 200,000 miles and more. Pearl has happily done whatever I have asked. Anywhere, under any conditions. Rain, sleet or snow. She took me from South Miami to Cartersville, GA in 11 and a half hours. 750 miles. She did the Insanity Ride; Blood Mountain, Wolf Pen Gap, Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28 and Warwoman Road in one day. She's not a sport bike, but is respected in the curves. The cruise control is exactly the same as in your car. She is a complete convertible, going from cross country tour machine to boulevard cruiser in 30 minutes. Loaded with extras including a factory color matched trunk and many chrome extras and LED lighting. I have installed the Barnette clutch spring upgrade and a battery tender connection for my heated glove liners. (I am keeping the liners.) I will also include a set of Road King mufflers if you want a deeper rumble. She runs best on Michelin Commander IIs and is in need of one for the rear. That's why I'm selling so low. I can put new Michelin Commander IIs and raise the price. She has a small dent in the right side of the tank that is barely noticeable. People are amazed that she is 12 years old. She runs out perfect. No trades or joy rides. Hurry if you want this wonderful piece of motorcycle craftsmanship.
