This is the first year of production for this bike and is carbureted and 1600 cc. I repainted the bike a few years ago just for a change not due to any damage and is flawless except for a tiny rock chip on front fender. This bike has always been garaged and never on it's side. I bought it from my neighbor 7 years ago so I know the history. I am selling because I bought a new 2016 bike. As you can see from the pictures I have added saddlebags with guards, windshield (2), luggage rack, sissy bar, driver backrest, rider floor boards, and engine guards. It also comes with a small rack for the rear fender if you remove the backseat. It has 34,185 miles and would not hesitate to ride this cross country today.
Yamaha FZ1---For the rider who likes sportbike performance but prefers more comfortable ergonomics. The FZ1 offers a more traditional upright seating position, yet sacrifices nothing in terms of engine and handling performance. Great for sport touring or sport riding.The bike has an indicated 29,000 miles but actually has 22,000 miles--original cluster died and I bought used. Paint is in excellent condition, front and rear suspensions have been upgraded, and carbs have a jet kit. Carburetors were just thoroughly cleaned (ultrasonically) and rubber parts replaced. Tires are Michelin Pilot Road 3 with about 5.000 miles remaining. Oil is fresh, and the suspension and chain were fully cleaned and lubricated over the winter.
