Only a little over 14,000 miles on this FJR, known for its high mile capabilities. This bike is in near perfect condition with only a few scuffs on the panniers from throwing a leg over. Never dropped. Garage kept. This is the automatic clutch version of the FJR, with a paddle shifter like one on a Formula One racer. Very smooth shifting. The bike comes with a Russell Day Long leather seat (for the rider), a large, reverse-flip Cee Bailey wind screen (and the original Yamaha screen), a Nelson-Rigg saddle bag, MV Motorrad Bar Riser, heated grips, headlight modulator, MCL highway pegs, peg-lowering brackets, frame sliders, and soft bags that fit in the panniers. The PR2's have some life left in them, and the battery is only a year old. Ever wanted to own a stallion? Here's your chance.

Please read this whole section before asking me questions, as the answers might be found below. For video of this bike, go to Youtube and search: "1986 Yamaha Fazer FZX700 for sale in Detroit area" Less than 8,500 miles on this rare, classic, Yamaha Fazer FZX700 known as the ''Baby V-Max", only sold in the USA in '86 and '87. Search for these on the internet, and you will see how rare they are, especially in the US. To find one in this condition at this price, you have to have lots of patience and luck. Its value will only go up as they become rarer. Excellent condition, all the way around. Never dropped/crashed. No leaks. This bike features the 5-valve Genesis motor, which looks and sounds fantastic. It is a very, very fast bike, with an 11,000 RPM redline, and it will beat many newer bikes the same size. I believe it is all original, except the tires, battery, voltage regulator, hand grips, and 2 chrome engine guards; an owner before me added the engine guards, and you can unbolt them if desired. The battery is 2 years old, and the bike fired right up after spending the long Michigan winter in storage. The bike will come with the original reflectors; I just took them off due to personal taste. I just changed the oil and filter, and the oil that came out still looked and smelled like like new. Other than 2 oil changes and new grips, I have not done any work on the bike, and I do not know what former owners had done to it, other than what I mentioned above. The only thing that doesn't work correctly is the reserve gas switch, or maybe I just don't know how to work it; I simply re-set the tripmeter to zero when I fill the tank up, then when the tripmeter gets to 100 miles I fill the tank again and reset the tripmeter to zero again, and I have never had a problem. Everything else works perfectly. The photos are all recent. The title is clean, clear, and green, and the title is in my name. I am not sure how many people owned the bike before me. When I bought it, I was told there were at least 3 previous owners. I have had it for 2 years now, and have only driven it 400 miles so far. Unfortunately I hardly get to ride because I travel 100% for a living, so it sits in storage almost all year. The sale includes one original key, a 2nd key, the original owner's manual, a Clymer repair manual, a storage cover, spare brake pads, and spare spark plugs.

1986 Yamaha Xvz1300 , I am selling my 1986 Yamaha Venture Royale XVZ1300. The bike has 35,0XX miles (well over 100k miles is expected for this bike), 1300cc V-4 engine (same platform as the Yamaha VMax). This is the redesign of the venture and besides different styling, bigger engine, more features, they also fixed the issues that 1983-1985 ventures had where 2nd gear goes out. This is a full dressed touring bike, it runs excellent and very smooth, onboard air compressor for the air suspension works, working cruise control, CB radio (don't have headsets), cassette (easily adapted for MP3/ 3.5mm headphone jack), Markland trailer hitch with new powered wiring harness, locking hard cases, fully adjustable handlebars, passenger floorboards, clean title . Within the last 500 miles the following work has been done to the bike: New tires All brake lines were de-linked and replaced with stainless steel lines Front brake calipers were replaced with R6 calipers and the rear caliper was rebuilt with new pads Clutch lever/line was flushed and bleed Front fork was rebuilt and the springs were replaced with progressive springs Carbs had the diaphragms replaced and were synced All fluids were changed at the beginning of the season (oil replaced 50 miles ago) The battery is brand new and replaced with a Deka ETX18L AGM battery Lower radiator hoses, plastic input elbow, freeze plugs, and thermostat housing were replaced Fixed "E4" air suspension error Other upgrades include: Factory Yamaha service manual and Owner's manual Yamaha accessory pouches K&N air filter Fog/driving lights Billet handlebar extensions for mounting accessories like a cup holder (included), GPS, etc The bike is in overall great shape for its age. The down side to the bike is it has a few scrapes on the right side fairing and some repaired cracks (see picture) and a very small rip in the seat. These bikes, when they came out, were the hot rods of the touring bikes; It handles very well for a heavyweight. I am asking $3100 for the bike, I strongly prefer cash but I might consider a trade.
