Beautiful bike that runs and sounds great! I purchased the bike brand new off the showroom floor in February of this year. Absolutely no issues and still in showroom condition. For the few months I have owned it, I have only used it to get around town and work. Only put 2700 miles on it. I have changed the oil every 500 miles as well as the oil filter. After every week, bike is washed and polished. It has always been stored in a heated garage under a cover. It does have a aftermarket exhaust by M4 that sounds amazing and turns heads every time! Other than that, the bike is all stock and ready to rip! Sad to let it go, but due to job relocation I wont be able to ride so I want someone else to enjoy it! Asking $6,000 O.B.O and no trades. I do have a truck so willing to deliver if close or meet.

Up for sale is the project bike I purchased for myself over a year ago. This R1 unfortuneatly does not have a title and I always told myself I'd get around to all the DMV hassle and get it another one. However all its really done is get fixed up a little and sit in my garage.. And I have came to a point where I have to part with it, or part it out! Even if it means taking a loss on the project. When I purchased this bike I was told that it was a former track bike and that somebody else had put the street legal fairings and lights on it. And that the title hadn't been transferred because it was always used on the track. The vin does not come up as a stolen bike when ran on any of the online vin searches I've used. Which makes the title status of this bike "rebuild able," or "bond able,". I know it is not the greatest scenario, but the bike is an awesome bike with no problems at all besides the title! I wanted to get it back on the road something fierce but always spent too much time on my dirt bikes after work to get anything done on it. When I purchased the bike it had a bad; battery, stator, chain and sprockets, leaking fork seals, bald tires, and was straight piped. This bike now has a new Electrosport industries stator, Bikemaster battery, new NGK iridium spark plugs, Silkolene synthetic oil, K&N Air Filter, Renthal R4 Road Race gold chain, steel sprockets geared -1,+2 (front end is light lol), Speedo tuner (not installed), and the tires are great! rear Bridgestone has about 15 miles on it and front Michillen has almost 1000. Also has a Coffman Shorty exhaust added which vibrates a little, but sounds mean, like gp sound at higher RPM. Front forks rebuilt and Silkolene synthetic used there as well. Wheels are OZ Racing wheels which came on the bike, front has a ding in it unfortunately but it balances out and is not noticeable while riding. It is also pictured. If left sitting you will need to check front tire pressure as it does slowly bleed off, (just being honest but it is sooooo slow, i checked every day while I was occasionally dare devil riding ha). Engine does fire up every time I try it no matter how long it sits, (I stabilize the fuel, she is not neglected), and the transmission shifts through all gears which is a problem for earlier R1's. (My 01' did not shift into 2nd at all lol). This bike is begging to be rescued from the garaged!! It could easily be a every day rider and is worth $4500 (NADA Blue book), with a clean title, (which is what you would have if you re titled it or got the old tracked down depends on what the DMV finds for you after your Sheriff's vin inspection). You could do nothing but re title the bike and flip it for a profit! Please don't hesitate to message me for any more information! I tried to be very thorough but understand if you have questions. Feel free to run the Vin for yourself as well!! I am sorry to have to get rid of this bike but I don't have a choice, and will most likely have another someday so no worries lol. Thanks for looking!!

The bike is a 1980 Yamaha xs650 that has been fully restored and customized. It has a 277 degree rephased engine, capacitor, permanent magnet alternator, kickstart only, electronic ignition, keihin 32 carbs, merged header, super trap muffler, overdrive 5th gear, renthal handle bars, ODI grips, ODI stem, drilled rotors, drilled wheels, custom cut tiress, custom seat, custom lighting, Baja Designs headlight, VW hella tailight, custom everyting. I built this machine in the winter of 2014....its low milage and in good shape. Everything is fresh, it sounds great , & rips. Would trade for an aircooled Volkswagen, or a flathead Ford.
