1966 YAMAHA YDS3C BIG BEAR SCRAMBLER! THIS BIKE WAS FOUND IN THE GARAGE OF A USED CAR LOT THAT WENT OUT OF BUSINESS IN THE MID 1980S. IT LOOKS TO BE PRETTY MUCH COMPLETE. THE ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT WE HAVE NOT TRIED TO START IT. THE CHROME HAS RUST ETC SEE PICS. BUT A NICE START TO A GREAT HARD TO FIND BIKE. IT HAS BOTH ORIGINAL PIPS AND THE TANK LOOKS OK. IT HAS RUST INSIDE. SEE PICS. WHAT YOU SEE IN PICS IS WHAT COMES WITH THE BIKE. I HAVE THE NC TITLE DATED 1967! SUPER COOL! IT WAS NEVER SIGNED BY THE PERSON ON THE TITLE, SO IT IS COMPELTELY OPEN. 1976 Yamaha XS500 DOHC Motorcycle!! When was the last time you saw one of these in original unmolested condition:????? ATTENTION PLEASE PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION INCLUDING TERMS AT BOTTOM BEFORE YOU BUY OR SEND AN OFFER. THANKS!! This bike was used regularly unitl 1999. It was put in a garage in 2000 and it was stored there until yesterday. The bike is not currently running. Though the engine does kick over, probably carb work etc to get it going. The body of the bike is in great shape for the year, little to no rust on it see pics.!! The gas tank is solid but has rust inside from sitting with old gas. The bike shows 10,xxx miles. The bike in my opinion is in great shape for the year. I have a key for the bike but I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE. THERE IS NO TITLE. EBAY DOES NOT HAVE A NO TITLE OPTION SO I HAD TO CHOOSE CLEAR TITLE. 1974 Yamaha XS500. Matching numbers bike! This bike was bought new in 1975 by the original owner, whos family i purchased it from. It was ridden regularly until 1983. It was parked a pack house and left there until last week! The bike overall looks great for a original untouched bike of its age. It is the cool purple color they had. The headlight bucket is slightly bent see pics The engine turns over with compression. It is not running. Bike still has the original license plate on it!!!!I DO NOT HAVE A KEY OR TITLE FOR THIS BIKE!! THE FAMILY WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND EITHER! EBAY DOES NOT HAVE A "NO TITLE" OPTION SO I HAD TO CHOOSE CLEAR TITLE. BUT AGAIN THERE IS NO TITLE. I WILL WRITE NEW OWNER A BILL OF SALE. The chrome on the bike does have some rust. The tank has a few dings and a dent in the top see pics. Overall the bike is a nice original bike. The seat looks good too. Please see pics.
