1970 Yamaha DS6B - two cylinder motorcycle with 8913 Miles. Everything works, including turn signals which I installed when I got the bike as it originally came without turn signals as they weren't required. This is a two stroke motorcycle which uses oil in the gas to lubricate the pistons and rings. It uses a small built in pump to meter oil as needed and the oil is stored in the right sidecover. The bike runs perfectly and usually starts up the first kick. I timed the engine and set the points when I got it about three years ago. I also changed the crank oil. There is some slight surface rust on some of the chrome but nothing that some elbow grease couldn't remove. There is a small tear in the seat but it is actually covered by the strap. The tank has no dents, but does have a couple of small but noticeable scratches. Both tires have been replaced and do not leak. The wheels spin perfectly true and the rims do not have any dents whatsoever. Sprocket is fine and I've cleaned and oiled the chain. The bike comes with a tool pouch found in a built-in box behind the left sidecover. Although only a 250cc twin, this motor has quite a bit of giddyup. This is a motorcycle that could be completely restored as everything is there and in very good shape. The bike has a valid registration and inspection.
