This bike has had all of these goodies added to it at the factory. It brings modern classic styling along for a lighter, sportier, hot-rod-inspired ride. 80-cubic-inch (1304cc) liquid-cooled, fuel-injected V-twin that produces excellent power across the board along with a highly stimulating exhaust note. Talk about power, and torque! Streamline design, including a seamless gas tank and two-into-one exhaust, gives it that distinctive Star look. Sly cooling system routes liquid through hidden hoses and internal engine passages for air-cooled looks and liquid-cooled performance. Oil filter is easy to get to but also tucked nearly out of sight for clean, pure looks. The fenders are steel not plastic. Rider floorboards for comfort and room; heel/toe shifter makes moving through the five-speed gearbox a snap.We did install a new rear tire on it!! 2004 Yamaha YFZ450, Yamaha has taken the lead in 4-stroke quad technology by unleashing the YFZ450, the first truly competition-oriented 4-stroke ATV from a major manufacturer.From the bottom up, the YFZ s dry-sump motor is a WR/YZ hybrid re-engineered specifically for the demands of quad life. To make the YFZ legal for the ATVA s Pro-class series that has a displacement limit of 440cc.Up top, the water-cooled engine features the same five-valve design as the bikes, but with a bit less compression (11.9:1 versus 12.5:1) and a lower rev limit (10,750 rpm versus 11,250 rpm). To generate a combination of screaming top-end and prodigious torque, the titanium valves (the first-ever quad so equipped) are activated by a YZ intake cam and a WR exhaust cam. Fresh air is ingested by a huge foam-type filter in a sealed airbox through to the bikes 39mm, throttle-position-sensor-equipped Keihin flat-slide carb, the very one used by most 4-stroke ATV motor builders for years. 2000 Yamaha XVS1100 V-Star Classic, Clean bike with only 11,571 Miles on it!! The V Star 1100 is simply one of the most pleasing-to-ride cruisers around. When you head down the road, all just seems to be right with the world. The comfortable layout lets you relax, leaving you to enjoy the road you're traveling. Check out the fender trim, both front, and rear, that has been added to it. If that road calls for some performance, the big Yamaha has you covered as roll-on power is very good across the rev range and handling is light and precise. The bike's excellent road manners, light steering and low seat height, however, combine to make the 1100 feel smaller than your typical open class cruiser, so it's not too hard to manage. Oh, did I mention the brakes? They just happen to offer the best feel of any cruiser I have ridden to date. The sound put out by the twin muffled exhaust is music to your ears - throughout the rev range. Some cruisers sound good at particular RPM, the Yamaha sounds great throughout the useable rev range. Added to this are comfy ergonomics provided by low wide bars, floor boards complete with heel shifter and a comfortable wide seat setting only 27.9 inches from the ground. 1980 Yamaha XS850 Midnight Special, Midnight Special!! The Yamaha XS 850 Midnight Special was a line of motorcycles produced by the Yamaha from 1976 to 1981, {This one is a 1980}, for the worldwide motorcycle market. The Midnight Special has the gloss black, and Gold treatment, this gave it a one of a kind, head turning look! This bike received rave reviews in Cycle World, who called it a "Bargain BMW" and rated it one of their top 10 bikes in the world. The Yamaha factory "special" is the fore fathers of the modern day cruiser. The feeling of a three-banger comes from the dual life it leads. It tries to blend the torque of a twin with the fast revving horsepower of an in-line four and in my opinion does an all right job of it. The XS850 is a strong running right off the line and makes a good amount of power through its rev range. Not to say that it's a tire shredding beast, but rather a competent motor for hauling around a rider or two and their gear. This one came to us as a trade in.
