I bought this bike new last January. Here was the plan. Do all the upgrades necessary to do anything with this bike. Ride the TWAT, Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail. DONE Spend a week riding the bike over amazing single track trails and a 12,400ft peak in Crested Butte, Colorado. DONE Read up and prepare to take this bike on January 2nd straight south, through Mexico and South American to the southern most point in South America, then turn around and come back. I did all those things except in December I found out my wife was pregnant. So the trans continental trip was cancel'd. OK so I did a lot of research and have done every useful modification to this bike which includes FMF Exhaust, $350 Sounds amazing and gives a noticeable gain in power. EJK Programmer $225 Tuned to get rid of the power dip and give noticeable power. I've also done the airbox mod that includes removing the EXUP valve. Flatland Skid Plate $110 Wolfman Luggage Racks $250 Garmin 550T GPS $600 Tusk D-Flex Hand Guards $50 IMS 3 Gallon Tank $275 Because the stock tank is really puny. I still have it. Warp 9 Supermoto Rims $1150 The stock rims included. They have very new offroad tires that only did the Colorado trip. I swap them out all the time. It takes about 10 minutes. The Warp 9 rims stay on for daily driving around here, and the offroad rims go on for hooligan fun. Both front rims have a larger than stock disc and the calipers have an adapter to put it in the right spot. It makes the stock front brake much more responsive. Bike is shown with SuperMoto Rims and tires. This bike is a ton of fun and extremely capable in almost every situation. I've ridden a lot of dual sport bikes and non of them are as purely enjoyable as this. The engine is surprisingly powerful. Stock Dirt rims and tires are included as well as all accessories. Oil has been changed after every trip, about every 1000 miles. Forks Cleaned. Air filter cleaned. Headstock greased. Chain lubed. I'm pretty meticulous about maintenance. There's a lot of money in parts in this bike and I figured less than 1/4 of the value of the extras into the price. So it's very fair for the setup.
