Registered, Green Sticker, 2 Stroke 1981 Yamaha IT465H. Registration good through June 2023. Title in hand. Motor is sound and as you can see it’s been put back to near showroom condition. Rare bike, title is oddly 1979 (probably CA DMV error from years past, I left it that way), Yamaha shows this VIN has been purged from their system and claims the bike was not manufactured to be “sold” in the US. So it’s very likely it was earmarked as a dealer/demonstration bike. Your guess is as good as mine. Serious buyers only. CASH IN MY HAND TO TEST RIDE. Bought both of this bikes with many extra parts from the previous owner who was going to restore it but lost interest. Had both bike running briefly in the shop, but never put fuel in the tanks or rode it. Transmission static shift through the gears. Has strong spark and great compression. Frame appears straight as well as the wheels. The 1984 is the one with the yellow fork gators and has a clear title. All new plastics. Tank was repainted by the previous owner. New decals. Previous owner stated that he touched up small areas on the frame and covers, but was a clean bike to begin with. Has a DG pipe and silencer. Buyer to pay and arrange for shipping. May be able to help find a shipper. Deposit required through Paypal within 48 hours. Bike is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early.

1981 Yamaha It250 , 1981 Yamaha IT 250. Very good condition and ready to ride or add to a collection. Recently overhauled including new top end with approx 5 hours (wossner piston and rings, oem gaskets), grips, rear tire and tube, rebuilt forks with all oem parts, replaced all fluids with bel Ray or yamalube, pro circuit exhaust with fresh repack, new uni air filter, rebuilt carb, new intake manifold, lots of miscellaneous bolts, nuts, and clips replaced, new cables, and seat cover. The headlight is original and working. I have a tail light for the bike. This is a very clean bike that is kept clean and stored indoors. I drain the tank after each ride. It starts up easily and pulls strong. I have had a great time restoring and riding this bike but I am ready to move on to another build.
