This is a 2009 Yamaha FZ6. This bike has 668 miles on it and it is in like new condition!!! It has always been garaged and always well maintained. I recently put a new battery in it and flushed and filled the cooling system with fresh antifreeze. The oil gets changed yearly whether it needs it or not and I always use synthetic oil with a K&N filter. It starts on the first blip of the starter and runs like a dream. I'm selling it because I just don't have the time to ride it and could use the money for some other projects. The insurance is cheap compared to a full faired sport bike but this runs faster than the FZ6R version. The only modifications are a Puig windscreen that puts the wind right above your head. I have owned this bike for the last 5 years and I am not able to ride like I hoped. The bike is garage kept, very clean, never laid over or wrecked. The title is clean, no bank lien, it is paid off. 2012 Yamaha Fz6 R, Ok here we go....I bought this bike new. I have the wheels painted pearl white to match the color of the bike. I have a progrip tank pad installed and I have 2 extras that are new I am throwing with the bike. I also have a shop manual on cd that comes with it as well. I have installed a K&N filter with a PCFC and a killer map that I am running. I gutted the exhaust and have to say it sounds better than any after market I have heard. This bike runs great and still get 45 mpg in town. I have installed blue LED lights shining down inside the frame so all you see is the glow and not the lights themselves. I have a 5500K 35W hid headlight also. I put heavier oil in the front forks when I changed it t to give it more stability in corners and man does it take them well. I just put new aluminum grips with rubber inserts on it as well.I have the windscreen painted white on the inside and it looks black from the outside. I am selling to get something different. I have had this one for 3 years and it is time for change. I ride this bike 4-5 times a week to work sooooo the mileage will gradually go up. I also have put NGK iridium plugs in to help with performance and longevity of the plugs. The bike has always been shinny side up and I wash with showroom shine waterless cleaner.
