Reason for selling is my age. The FJR, as much as I love it, has become too heavy a ride for me at 79 years of age. Bought new 8-27-2016. Garaged, showroom condition- 499 miles. I am 58 and have owned over 20 bikes, this is the very best motorcycle I have ever owned. In 2016, FJR added many upgrades. All LED lighting for crisper illumination, 6 speed transmission with improved slipper clutch for softer lever pull and much smoother downshifts. In addition, improved acceleration and highway cruising. Ultimate Motorcycling stated "Everything that made the FJR1300A a great bike in the past is still there, but with more performance, more comfort, and more panache. Yamaha took an already excellent FJR1300 and markedly improved it."
