tThis is the best bike I have ever owned. Moved on to a newer model.. If you are familiar with this bike you know that it is almost bullet proof. Bike is bone stock except for heated grips that work, a 5 in. over sized extra windshield for the winter, and Power commander tuning module. There is some minor body damage due to a slip and fall in a gravel parking lot. See photos. Also some expected wear above the foot pegs from boots. Mileage is reflected in the price. Believe the book price is right at $4000.00. Tires are decent. Brakes pads were changed about 15K ago. I usually got about 40K. Runs great. Oil changes and other maintenance done by me. Synthetic oil used. Fluids have been flushed in the last year. If you are looking for a cost effective daily driver or just a weekend of carving the mountain roads this is the bike you want. I have ridden 500 miles in a day no problem.
One adult owner- always garage kept and never dropped. Meticulously maintained on schedule- major services all done by Yamaha. 60 k of long trip/ride miles (not a commuter). Some add-ons include--Hyperlites LED brake lights-Under seat 12 V outlet-Plug for Gerbings heated gear-Frame sliders-battery tender hookup-rear cover (similar to Corbin Smuggler- photo shown)-half cover-GIVI tank bagHard Side Bags and inner waterproof linersExcellent mechanical condition. Beautiful blue paint shines. A few marks/scuffs, and wear marks on the silver "yamaha" plate, where the riding pants rubbed. One small crack at bottom of right faring- no accident, just a critter.Great bike. Just time to try something different for a while and have a small garage!
