Fairly well maintained, sport cruiser, a maroon 1982 Yamaha XJ650 "Maxim". Bike has 20691 miles as of this posting. Has brand new brake pads and the carbs were recently serviced. The four cylinder engine may only be a 650, but it idles super smooth and has a lot of power considering the displacement. If you're looking for a good ride around town that'll stand out in a crowd, look no further. The bike has a 4 into 2, aftermarket, side exit styled exhaust that sounds perfect and generic, black saddle bags. Issues: -The neutral light does not illuminate and putting the kickstand down kills the engine, even when in neutral. It's my understanding that there is a switch that can be easily replaced to fix this issue. But it doesn't affect day to day riding unless you're unable to discern when flicking from first, past neutral, to second. -The tail light bracket was damaged at some point in the past. I have a replacement on hand but haven't had time to install it. The bike was made in 1982 and has almost 21000 miles. There are a couple dings and scratches, as to be expected. Some of the trim isn't as bright as it was in the past. But overall, the bike looks good and runs very well.
