This is an unfinished Willys CJ-3B project jeep. It has been in a barn since the 70s. We just pushed it outside on the 24th. It is a '48 willys with a new (in the '70s) CJ-3B body on it. It has a clear '48 Willys Colorado title. The drive train is a 283 and 4 speed out of an impala connected to the original Willys transfer case with a warn overdrive. It was stored with an air cleaner on it, I took it off for the pics. The axles are stock '48 Willys. The trans is a GM car 4 speed, not a granny low from a truck. The body is a new CJ-3B from the early '70s. It is in excellent shape. As you can see in the pics there are no holes cut in the dash yet, and there is no glass in the windshield. It has an impala steering wheel and column that are in excellent shape. Comes with some extra parts such as headers, ram horn manifolds, headlight buckets, nice hanging pedals, and a couple of gas tanks in good shape. The steering is not hooked up to the front axle, and there are no shackles on the jeep but it is easy to roll around. The tires will hold air long enough to get it on a trailer. This would be a cool hot rod project, or would be a great body to use to restore a rusty CJ-3B. Call Tim with questions at 719-557-1755 anytime.
