1951 WILLYS JEEP CJ-3A Garage kept since 1968 Used as a private winter vehicle up until early 1980’s then just sat in garage. Put back into drivable condition in 2012. Currently registered as a historic vehicle in NJ and driven around town on occasion. Engine , Transmission, transfer case, clutch, locking hubs, and the rest of the drive-train all operate well. Rebuilt CJ-2A engine installed in 1970’s. Frame is clean with no rot and still has the paint from last restoration in the 70's. Body was repaired 40 years ago and needs some attention again. Most parts to restore a Jeep like this are readily available brand new. Early 2012 these things were done. Installed new Ring Gear, Clutch Disk & new Exhaust Manifold. Rebuilt Carburetor, Full ignition tune-up, Generator bushings and sealed Optimum battery. All New brakes, New Brake cylinders, New front axle kingpin bearings & front axle seals. New period correct Tires. Canvass top and doors are in nice usable condition all plastic windows are clear. I Have some parts collected, air cleaner, seat brackets etc to continue restoration. ALL STOCK. the engine has been rebuilt and so i am setting the mileage at ZERO. this cj3a is an unfinished total frame off restoration. it starts, stops, runs, and drives. the transmission leaks, and the alternator is not correct. the tub is rust-free, and has been under-covered with por-15. there are also 3 coats of por-15 on the frame and linkage. there are a lot of extras, i.e., wiring harnesses, new gauges, new steering wheel, etc. i have a bantam trailer full of spare parts. i have run out of money and the boss-lady says i have too many projects, this one has to go. all four tires are brand new. i will be taking a loss on the sale of this jeep. the vehicle is legally registered. price is negotiable. must sell.

Hasn't run in awhile but it's ready to go offroad. Buick V6 3.8L with Holley Pro-Injection, Headers, TH350 auto tranny with B&M ratchet shifter, Warn Overdrive final drive 5.88-overdrive 4.10, OEM transfer-case, OEM axles with Lock-Rights, Disc Brakes on front, 16 gal. fuel cell, Full Cage roll bar, Cloth S10 bucket seats, AM-FM radio with water proof speakers, CB radio, Tow Bar, Tensen 2 speed winch (has never ran, mostly just for show), super hot heater with defroster ducts, 31x10.5x15 tires, aluminum tool box, trail rack....when I brought it years ago, it didn't run, I overhauled the engine, changed the intake to except the throttle body, had a friend help me with the tranny and diffs, have the injectors cleaned but not installed, might need new battery and the fuel line cleaned out, have about $6000 invested, I'm on SSDI now which is very limited income, I don't have the money to spent to fix it.
