1963 Volkswagen Sandrail , 1973 VW sand rail for sale. Engine is a 1600cc bored to a 1835 with 92mm pistons. Has stock crank shaft. Drive shaft also has some wear and spun one rod bearing. Have the entire engine parts if you want to rebuild it. Carburators are good. Tranny rebuilt 6/7/2013. New brakes at that time also. Rewire in 2012. Was running great on the dunes until some water got into the engine. Front and rear seats have removable padded covers with 4 point harnesses. Removable steering wheel. Turn signals, front lights, roof lights and tail lights all work. Have 2 sets of tires. Street tires 31x10.5xR15 rear and 165R15 front. Also have rear paddles and front smoothies for the dunes. Looking for a project and old school buggy...this is it. May consider selling paddles and smoothies separate. $2500 or best offer. Have title $2,000.00
