New For 2011 All 2011 models of the Victory motorcycle are now equipped with a 1731-cc, V-Twin engine called Freedom 106, which has a larger displacement than previous models, and produces 113 lb-ft of torque. This is one of the best cruiser engines in the market today. Transmission: All Victory motorcycles have received an upgrade to their powertrain. With almost 40% of the drivetrain reworked, the new transmission has enhanced performance and reliability. A completely revamped, six-speed transmission allows smoother shifting and comes with something called Neutral Assist which makes hitting neutral easier when approaching a stop. The transmission is covered by a 100,000 mile warranty. The 2011 Victory Vegas model has new handlebars that extend two inches more to the back compared to the 2010 model. This year receives new instruments. An analog speedometer and a backlit LCD panel that includes a gear-position indicator, a clock, and numeric tachometer. Warning lights are now located in the gauge pack instead of the triple clamp & low fuel light. A skinny 21-inch front wheel does more to complete a look than enhance performance. Also of note: Each Victory has a set of self-canceling Turn signals, which prevents the annoying (or dangerous) situation in which a careless rider can go for miles with a signal blinking for no apparent reason. It functions cleanly, The 2011 Victory Vegas has large front discs and four-piston Nissin calipers, disc. The Vegas also has a two-piston caliper and rear rotor. The new single-unit gauge pack is a success. Its mounted high and is quite visible, with its functions controlled via a button at the forward end of the left-side switchgear. Its clock and GPI are always on, low fuel warning light. A numeric tach nice to be able to refer to one at 60 mph in sixth gear, its showing 2100 rpm. New gear-position indicator that uses a calculation to determine which gear has been selected. New 48-amp charging system across all models, with increased output at low revs. New side stands that are less bulky but easier to access. .
