I get lots of smiles and thumbs up on the road, and plenty of looks and questions when I am fueling up - people can't get over the futuristic look of this bike. And I'm proud to say that it's made in America! Important to note is that Victory is not going to be making motorcycles anymore - they announced this early in 2017, along with a promise to continue supporting their bikes for another decade (providing parts, etc.) making this bike even more rare. Besides the looks and the rarity, the bike rides like a dream. The fixed fairing means an effortless ride in the wind - the bike simply leans into it. The front wheel and handlebars are balanced in such a way that turning is a breeze, even at slow speeds. For such a big bike, it turns very tightly. I can spin in circles with the handlebar locked to either the left or right and still feel totally in control. The floorboards make long rides more comfy. Fortunately I've never had to test them, but the brakes come with ABS as well. The touring features of the bike help for those longer trips: comfy seats, a removable armrest for the passenger with cupholder, a six gallon fuel tank, 29 gallons of storage, cruise control, a surround sound system with iPod connection, plus a built-in intercom for rider/passenger communication. Included are a couple of optional trunk liners, one for the back and one for the side. These act like luggage that fits perfectly into the storage compartments so you can pack as tight as possible while making it easy to get in and out of a hotel. I have short legs, and this bike is the lowest of all of the touring bikes I could find. Its 26.5” seat height is very comfortable for me, while I have a bit more trouble with the 29” height of, say, a Gold Wing. When it gets cold, the individual rider and passenger heated seats have a low and high setting, as do the heated grips. And the adjustable wings on the side of the bike allow you to direct heat from the motor either to your legs or around them, depending on the weather. Another neat feature is the electric windshield - you can raise or lower it while riding. I put it up on the highway to reduce helmet buffet, and down on the street to get some wind in my hair. Ever worry about tipping over a big bike like this? One of the most remarkable features of the Vision is its tipover points - four points on the bike that allow it to rest on its side without damaging the bike - if you come see the bike, I will demonstrate how they work and how even an old guy like me can gently lay down the bike and lift it back up again, with no assistance.
