I am selling this bike for my friend's wife. He was a Veteran with a dream. Sadly he died. His bike has become a small burden to her as well as a sad memory. This bike has been sitting for 4 years. It was started periodically for the first 3 years then it sat for 1 year. The bike is not running. It needs a person who knows about this kind of bike. We couldn't get it start this year. So, we rebuilt the carburetors, cleaned the gas tank and replaced any needed fuel lines. The spark plugs were dark colored but showed spark. But, we still couldn't get it to start. We didn't replaced the spark plugs. If you are a Triumph enthusiast, this is the bike for you. We are out of resources. So, the price is very fair. If it were running you would have to pay $3,000 to $3,500. An "As Is" bike would be around $1,500 to $2,000. With all the new parts and the condition the bike is in, we are asking $2,000. The tires, fairings, gas tank and touring bags are worth that price.The whole bike is in great condition. The tires are 1 year old with about 200 miles on them. The little rubber vent spews are still intact. The compression is strong in all four cylinders. He drove it about 1,800 miles but the bike has 24,773 miles total. There are some garage scratches but nothing someone couldn't buff out. The bike has missed the current registration. The pictures show the condition. If you have been looking for an easy project and have the knowledge, then here is your bike.

2001 Triumph Trophy 1200, MECHANIC SPECIAL! FOR SALE AS IS! This 2001 Triumph Trophy 1200 is in good condition for its age. As you can see in the photos it has been well taken care of. The tires are in good condition and the paint is still vibrant apart from one small scratch on the right bag (photoed). Heated seat and heated grips work great! There is a leaking fork seal, the rear disk break is near minimal thickness, and needs an oil change. Other than that, this bike is in good condition and ready to ride!
