Torsional Damping The Triumph Trophy delivers its smooth and refined ride via a torsional damping system. Thus transfers power from the gearbox to the shaft drive through a sprung bevel gear, and uses a shock-absorbing metalastic universal joint to deliver seamless drive to the rear wheel.
