This Tiger is loaded and ready for the Adventure you've been wanting to do! This bike comes stock with switchable ABS brakes. I purchased this new for close to $16K, it has only seen less than 20 miles of "Back country" roads, the rest on highway! I discovered this type of riding (back country riding) isn't for an old guy like me! LOL Extras: Center stand, auxiliary lights, auxiliary electric outlets, oil pan guard, engine guards, heated grips, GPS mount for Garmin Zumo550 (GPS not included!), extra touring seat, new front tire, rear tire with plenty of life, tank bag with electric connection to bike, hard Triumph saddle bags or touring bags, exhaust heel guard with high temp powder coating, Service manual included $100 (from dealer). It did get tipped over on side with no serious damage. Sorry no test rides, or crazy shipping request, cash talks the rest walks! Thanks for looking at my Triumph, I hope after you purchase it you have many happy hours Adventure riding the **** out of her! You will not find a smoother running motorcycle than this triple cylinder setup! 2016 Triumph Tiger 800 XC, 2016 Triumph Tiger 800 XC Sometimes, the road isn t enough. Sometimes, the ride leads you to places beyond the reach of most vehicles. But cross country or cross-continent, you don t need tarmac when you ride a Tiger 800 XC. With premium WP adjustable suspension and a torque-laden 95 PS 800cc triple engine, there are few obstacles capable of standing in its way. Triumph Traction Control and a responsive ride-by-wire throttle set a new standard in off-road adventure, while an improved riding position lets you make the most of the trademark Triumph handling. Add spoked wheels, 21 at the front, for improved off-road performance and a high-level front mudguard and you have everything you need for thrilling off-road riding. Features may include: Ride by Wire The second generation 800cc engine now features a ride-by-wire throttle system which provides smoother power delivery, better response, and lower emissions. Traction Control Every new Tiger 800 features first in class standard fitment of Triumph Traction Control (TTC) that prevents the unexpected spinning of the rear wheel and cuts the engine torque to avoid the loss of lateral grip. Active Safety The new Tiger XC features switchable ABS as standard, to ensure maximum confidence and control whilst braking. Triple Engine The new Tiger features a liquid-cooled, 800cc in-line-three cylinder engine, delivering 95PS and 79Nm of torque for power across the entire rev range and the distinctive Triumph triple sound and character. Fuel Efficiency The Tiger XR has a 17% improvement in fuel efficiency on the EU mixed cycle which means that fuel economy improves from 55mpg to 65 mpg versus the outgoing Tiger giving a potential range of 272 miles. Gearbox The gearbox has been updated with the selector mechanism derived directly from the class leading Daytona, for quicker smoother shifts. Suspension WP suspension has been used to further boost the Off-Road riding qualities of the new XC models. The WP 43mm USD fork, with rebound and compression damping is easily adjustable through dedicated clickers on the fork tops. The rear suspension unit is a WP mono shock adjustable for preload and rebound damping and has a dedicated dirt protector for the RSU body. Handling The handling balance of the Tiger is what really sets it apart with exceptional precision, agility, and control for the most spirited of ride be it on or off-road.
