2012 Triumph Tiger 800 XC, This bike has a small dent on the gas tank. The paint isn't chipped at all but there is a dent. You can see in a couple of the pictures. This bike has been well taken care of and you would never guess by looking at it that it's got over 35K miles. THIS IS THE ABS MODEL!! 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 XC Built to take the worst you can throw at it, the Tiger 800 XC has been fully equipped to handle autobahns and green lanes with equal aplomb. The 800cc three-cylinder engine sets new standards in the adventure bike class, smoothly delivering plentiful torque at low revs for accurate off-road riding and combining it with more than adequate top end power for relaxed high-speed cruising. With its rugged steel frame and long travel suspension the Tiger 800 XC has been designed for the rough stuff, with a host of optional accessories available for riders planning to spend more time off the pavement than on it. The high specification includes a factory-fitted immobilizer, adjustable 45mm upside down front forks, adjustable rider seat and hand guards. Adjustable tapered aluminum handlebars add a touch of class and off-road durability to the Tiger 800 XC, while the optional anti-lock braking system can be switched off for off-road riding. Features Maximum Adjustibility Handlebars and rider seat are both adjustable for optimal rider comfort. Suspension Chunky 45mm upside down forks adorn the front of the Tiger 800 XC. Plus there's long travel for comfort on road and compliance, when you take to the rough stuff. Switchable ABS Anti-lock brakes can be switched off for off-road riding. Built in Rear Rack Well appointed rear rack doubles as generously proportioned passenger grab rail. But cross country or cross-continent, you don t need tarmac when you ride a Tiger 800 XC. With premium WP adjustable suspension and a torque-laden 95 PS 800cc triple engine, there are few obstacles capable of standing in its way. Triumph Traction Control and a responsive ride-by-wire throttle set a new standard in off-road adventure, while an improved riding position lets you make the most of the trademark Triumph handling. Add spoked wheels, 21 at the front, for improved off-road performance and a high-level front mudguard and you have everything you need for thrilling off-road riding. Features May Include: RIDE BY WIRE The second generation 800cc engine now features a ride-by-wire throttle system which provides smoother power delivery, better response, and lower emissions. TRACTION CONTROL Every new Tiger 800 features first in class standard fitment of Triumph Traction Control (TTC) that prevents the unexpected spinning of the rear wheel and cuts the engine torque to avoid the loss of lateral grip. ACTIVE SAFETY The new Tiger XC features switchable ABS as standard, to ensure maximum confidence and control whilst braking. TRIPLE ENGINE The new Tiger features a liquid-cooled, 800cc in-line-three cylinder engine, delivering 95PS and 79Nm of torque for power across the entire rev range and the distinctive Triumph triple sound and character. FUEL EFFICIENCY The Tiger XR has a 17% improvement in fuel efficiency on the EU mixed cycle which means that fuel economy improves from 55mpg to 65 mpg versus the outgoing Tiger giving a potential range of 272 miles. GEARBOX The gearbox has been updated with the selector mechanism derived directly from the class leading Daytona, for quicker smoother shifts. SUSPENSION WP suspension has been used to further boost the Off-Road riding qualities of the new XC models. The WP 43mm USD fork, with rebound and compression damping is easily adjustable through dedicated clickers on the fork tops. The rear suspension unit is a WP mono shock adjustable for preload and rebound damping and has a dedicated dirt protector for the RSU body.
