This bike has 40,000 miles and is very clean.  It has just developed a low oil pressure problem, and engine oil inspection indicates a main or crank bearing may require replacement.  The bike starts fine, but then loses oil pressure as it comes up to temperature.  I do not recommend it be operated or ridden in this condition.  I do not have the time or funds to dig in to this problem.  The bike has been maintained to the OEM schedule and is up to date on all technical bulletins and recalls.  Fitted with Michelin PR4s at 38,000 miles.  Bike has a clear title.What comes with the bike:SW Motech side and top racks set up to mount Givi Monokey cases (side racks are quick-release, removeable)Original top rack (from before SW Motech rack was added)Triumph low seat upgrade, with comfort gel seats (rider and passenger)Original rider and passenger seatsTriumph service manualAssortment of Triumph's model-specific tools.I am keeping the Givi cases shown in the photo, so they are not included in the sale.

Relocating to NYC and selling my wonderful Triumph Tiger 800 XC, I've priced it to move quickly. It has been a 100% trustworthy adventure bike for me and has proven to be very capable. Everyone knows the triple motor is a blast in the twisties but most people don't realize the buttery smooth power delivery makes dirt trails a breeze as well.The bike is decked out ready for adventure, its as ready to ride of an adventure bike as you will find. How'd I get it there? By bolting on the following:Heed full crash bars (best protection available) $215 Lowered and wide pegs (Wide pegs are power steering for adventure bikes) $150Triumph metal skid plate (It really should come stock with this!) $180 Hepco Becker pannier racks (Sturdy and great protection) Caribou side case luggage system (Indestructible and lockable) $856 (with H&B racks) Givi Airflow two part windscreen (Lower it for the dirt, raise it up on the highway!) $238Hepco & Becker centerstand $280 Seat Concepts rider and pillion seat rebuild (As comfortable as a La-Z-Boy!) $180 That's over $2000 in adventure accessories! Currently the bike has Conti TKC 80s on it but it also comes with a set of Heidenau K60 Scouts and Dunlop Trailmax tires.The bike has 19,xxx miles on it - and will increase slightly as I still ride it. The bike has some scratches (mostly on the crash bars) from some tipovers. It's an adventure bike so its seen some dirt roads. It's never been put down at speed. But we made the Tiger Explorer for every rider that wants rugged dependability, long distance comfort, a powerful and torquey engine with an extended fuel range, fine handling and the ability to cope with unmade roads. And we didn t stop there. We added high levels of sophisticated equipment, including ABS, traction control and cruise control along with the special character that comes with a Triumph three cylinder engine, and handling so natural and easy the bike is just as much at home in town as on the tundra. Features May Include: PERFORMANCE LWe gave the Explorer a 1215cc three-cylinder engine. Built with the latest technology to be strong, dependable and have the low maintenance levels you need on long adventures. It has plenty of power and torque with a hefty 137PS at 9300rpm, and 121Nm at just 6400rpm. Useable torque low down in the rev range where you need it most. SUSPENSION The suspension on the Tiger Explorer is built to cope with any kind of riding condition. We used tough 46mm forks at the front with an extended 190mm of travel, ideal for rough roads and long distance comfort. RIDE-BY-WIRE Designed to be as tough as the rest of the Tiger Explorer XC, the fuel injection is controlled by a ride-by-wire throttle system using computer control to give you the torque you need in the most efficient, predictable way. SUSPENSION The suspension on the Tiger Explorer is built to cope with any kind of riding condition. We used tough 46mm forks at the front with an extended 190mm of travel, ideal for rough roads and long distance comfort. And at the rear, the single shock provides 194mm of travel and features a hydraulic remote preload adjuster and adjustable rebound damping. BRAKES Braking is looked after by a pair of 4-piston callipers and twin 305mm discs at the front backed up by a single rear disc, all controlled by our advanced, switchable electronic ABS system.
