2015 Triumph Thunderbird Storm Nightstorm Special Edition, 2015 Triumph Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition The Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition is a fully-specified, blacked-out power cruiser for riders who demand a harder edge along with their laid-back ride. Based on the successful Thunderbird Storm and powered by the big-bore 1699cc (104ci) version of Triumph s acclaimed parallel-twin engine, the Nightstorm adds a host of styling touches to provide a darker, moodier and more menacing presence. Features May Include: Styling The Nightstorm takes black to a new level. Stripped of much of its chrome work, the Nightstorm gets a custom makeover. The custom hand painted tank features ghost flames in a two tone combination of Phantom Black and Silver Frost that provides an incredible sparkle effect finish. The twin-skinned full exhaust system is coated with our high temperature resistance black paint which is rated to maintain Triumph s signature quality finish. The exhaust defines the attitude of the Nightstorm and delivers the Thunderbird s distinctive thumping soundtrack. The dark character continues with black handlebars, mirrors, control plates rear brake and gear levers. Contrasting to the black are the specially machined cam bore finishers and the striking Nightstorm emblem. Engine The centrepiece of the Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition is an acclaimed 1699cc parallel-twin cruiser engine. Its massive 107.1 mm pistons pump out a tyre-shredding 98PS, with a tidal wave of spectacular 156Nm of torque arriving at just 2950rpm. Seat Low 700mm seat height delivers classic looks coupled with easy riding dynamic suitable for all types of rider.
