I'm selling my 2008 Street Triple... long story short, I just don't have the time I used to to put into riding so I want to let someone else have this amazing bike. A lot of good mods, including an Arrow exhaust, a center stand and a full crash protection kit. This is an absolutely fantastic bike. If you're looking at Street Triples you already know that. It's got an insane amount of torque and is more comfortable to ride for hours than a race replica sportbike. It also stands out a lot from other bikes on the road. I'm selling my 2008 Street Triple... long story short, I just don't have the time I used to to put into riding so I want to let someone else have this amazing bike. It's literally gathering dust in my garage. I picked up the bike in 2011 when it had ~6000 miles on it and I am the third owner. It's been well taken care of (garaged, regularly maintained, etc). I haven't put many miles on it so it's still in great shape. That being said... in mid-2011 the bike was dropped on its left side at low (~5mph) speeds. I had it checked out by Arizona Superbike, who replaced the broken shift lever, and I repaired the remaining damage to the body, with the only evidence remaining today being a slightly ground passenger peg on the left side and a dent in one of the headlight housings. There wasn't any damage to the tank or frame and unless you know what to look for you won't know it was down. The remaining beat up parts are all repairable, but I was at the point of diminishing returns. The previous owner had the Arrow underseat exhaust put on... it's got a great sound. Originally he had the baffles removed and threw them away. I had to track down some originals and have them shipped (from Italy!) because they eventually got noisy enough to annoy me while riding. You can pop them in or out as you want. The mods I have made to the bike (that I can think of) are below: -Gripster tank pads -ASV adjustable brake and clutch levers -Rizoma mirrors -Rizoma front and rear LED turn signals -SW-MOTECH center stand -GBRacing complete protection kit (frame sliders, engine covers, chain guard, paddock stands, spindle protectors) In most cases, the mods are reversible and I have the stock parts as well if you want to go back. I had the regulator-rectifier recall that was put out for Street Triples done in 2013 at Go AZ motorcycles in Scottsdale. This is an absolutely fantastic bike. If you're looking at Street Triples you already know that. It's got an insane amount of torque and is more comfortable to ride for hours than a race replica sportbike.
