I AM SELLING MY 1972 TRIUMPH TIGER. THIS WAS BOUGHT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO, I AM THE SECOND OWNER IT WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WHEN I GOT IT WITH 5200 ORIGINAL MILES. I THEN SET ABOUT COMPLETELY RESTORING IT TO NEAR CONCOURSE CONDITION ALL CYCLE PARTS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED ALONG WITH THE AIR BOX WHEEL HUBS AND TAIL LIGHT HOUSING,BUCHANAN STAINLESS SPOKES ALL HARDWARE SPRINGS LEVERS ETC CADMIUM PLATED AS THEY WERE WHEN NEW.BEAUTIFUL PAINT WORK ON TANK FENDERS & SIDE COVERS BY MIKE WAMBOLD,ONE OF THE BEST BRITISH BIKE PAINTERS IN THE US,TANK WAS SEALED AT THAT TIME ALSO,BOYER IGNITION HIDDEN AWAY WITH 6 VOLT PVC GERMAN COILS AND A TRIDENT OIL FILTER FROM MAP CYCLES.ORIGINAL WIRING HARNESS UNTOUCHED WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ELECTRONIC IGNITION WIRED IN CORRECTLY.THE ENGINE HAS NEVER BEEN TORN INTO WITH THE EXCEPTION OF NORMAL MAINTENANCE,NO WRENCH OR SCREW DRIVER TRACKS ANYWHERE ON THIS BIKE,IT DOES NOT LEAK ANY OIL TO SPEAK OF JUST AN OCCASIONAL DRIP FROM THE OIL STRAINER. SPEEDO AND TACH ALONG WITH ALL LIGHTS WORK AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO,TIRES WHERE REPLACED WITH JAP DUNLOPS AT THE TIME OF THE RESTO BECAUSE OF DRY ROT. STILL HAS THE MUFFLERS THAT CAME ON IT NEW WITH MINOR DINGS AND SCRATCHES BUT STILL SHOW WELL,I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT ALL THE CABLES ON THIS BIKE ARE ORIGINAL EXCEPT THE CLUTCH CABLE [STRETCHED]NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.
