Great bike! I've enjoyed this one for 2 1/2 years and ready to ride something else for awhile. Well maintained, including recent 20K major service, at Triumph dealer shops only. All inspection points are green, ready to ride with no issues. I'm including the Triumph TANK BAG and Tom Tom Rider GPS NAVIGATION along with the dealer installed POWERED TOP CASE and HEATED GRIPS. If you're thinking about the BMW R 1200 RT or similar, you should consider the Triumph Trophy in your research. I rode both via rental before deciding and the Triple just performs better in my view. The low-end power and great throttle response, combined with amazing tech like the ELECTRONIC RIDE ADJUSTMENT and electric FULLY ADJUSTABLE wind screen, make it a real joy to ride anywhere. With mountain twisties, roaming blacktop, and the big ol' I-5 slab here in Oregon, I've tested this bike in just about all the ways you want to. It lives up to both halves of its SPORT/TOURING bloodline. All that and it cruises at 55 MPH on a fuel-sipping 70+ MPG! It's got some cool gadgets. The audio system was really unexpected. I can connect anything to it through bluetooth, USB, or audio input. Works great with my iPods, phone, and G9 headset. Even has satellite and weather radio. All the audio adjustments and changes are easily accessible on the fly and the marine grade speakers deliver the tunes at all the speeds I've ridden at. Next service is at 30K. Tires are both 3/32 to the wear indicator. Many miles to go! Rear brakes are new. Fronts are far from needing maintenance. The MOM says you can use regular gas but I've only ever used premium. I did one longish trip with it - 2200 miles around the great Pacific Northwest - and the rest has been day trips and commuting. It's truly worth your investigation if you want long range comfort that can still tear up a track. Call it an adventure bike for us folks who don't want to play in the mud anymore.
