I rode it to Born Free last year and it did very well. The engine is a 650 with low miles. It has been a show bike it's whole life. It has been sitting in a garage since the 70's. The engine case, trans., frame and all brackets, etc. is all old chrome plating from the 60's. The paint is old also. This is a survivor and I will let the new owner decide if it needs a re-paint. The tires are new AVON Speedmaster in front and Pirelli in back, the front and rear rim have been trued and spin well. I have taken this bike on a 300 mile road trip and the only thing that needs attention is the front end. It needs to be rebuilt. It is a bit sloppy. The brakes work fine like any other Triumph, not great but fine. There is an oil leak at the sump like most pre-units. I would recommend a new gasket kit for the top end leaks a bit but nothing serious. It is registered and insured. I started to do the wiring and never finished it. All lights work but need to be wired. The paint has been removed from the front of the frame to expose the VIN number. I didn't do this CHP did to Vin verify the motorcycle so I could register it. Its not a numbers matching set but it is all legit pink and registration in hand. I love this bike a lot but she has to go. This is a one of a kind old survivor show bike that needs a good home.
