1971 Triumph Bonneville 650 T120RV Rigid Digger Chopper Matching frame and engine numbers on a 70's era digger style chopper that's been updated and restored, this bike started out as a Triumph T120RV and was somewhat customized and then it sat for many years and was never completed, The 71 T120RV is the first year that Triumph introduced a five speed transmission on their unit construction motors and this bike is one of only 200 pre-production T120R's that were modified to a five speed by the Triumph factory in 1971 and exported. Other aspects of this chopper worth noting, the extended springer front end is a rare Arlen Ness "Bay Area Springer" manufactured in the early 70's most likely 70 or 71 the front end now has new updated custom fabricated front end rockers (similar to Sugar Bear's front ends) to level out the motor angle along with a custom front Brembo disk brake for added stopping power. Custom milled top and bottom billet front end inner and outer spring spacers, 70's era wrap around octagon oil tank, original frame converted to rigid, small vintage 7/8's handlebars with a custom front master cylinder and a custom made chrome sissy bar The motor, trans, gearbox & carb has had a total rebuild from the crank up, with all new seals, gaskets and bearings, new pistons and rings, valves and guides, clutch plates & hub. The bike has also been converted from coils and points to a Boyer electronic Ignition. Also worth noting the top end of the engine was changed to an earlier model head to make use of only one carburetor. Exhaust pipes are made by Wassell in the UK with upswept cocktail shakers, the paint (gas tank & fender) was done by painter Nick-O-Teen and the frame powder coated. Custom one off fabrication done on this chopper includes, Custom made stainless steel axle adjusters, front end chrome rockers with front disk brake and bracket, rear brake linkage, exhaust brackets, billet battery holder, chrome Kick stand, skateboard wheel chain tensioner, additional chroming includes the primary cover, gearbox cover, timing cover, foot and shift pegs, springer front end chromed & black powder coated, show polished rocker boxes, new 21" Avon Speed master front tire along with a new 16" rear whitewall tire, custom made seat, new drive chain and battery with custom made battery tray holder, new side mount license plate/taillight, and various nuts & bolts on the bike have been changed out to chrome or stainless steel. Just now breaking in the motor and it has around 110 miles on it and the bike kicks over on one kick. It also won first place at the first and only bike show it was entered in, This bike has been inspected by the CHP and is currently clear titled and registered in CA $9,000 For any and all inquiries just ask
