Being a Tiger, this is a bike built for adventure. Exploring new roads, even new countries and not stopping just because the road does. But we made the Tiger Explorer for every rider that wants rugged dependability, long distance comfort, a powerful and torquey engine with an extended fuel range, fine handling and the ability to cope with unmade roads. And we didn’t stop there. We added high levels of sophisticated equipment, including ABS, traction control and cruise control along with the special character that comes with a Triumph three-cylinder engine, and handling so natural and easy the bike is just as much at home in town as on the tundra.

The Tiger is one of the ultimate do-it-all motorcycles that can tour continents two-up, commute effortlessly or scythe a set of corners. At its core is a seminal fuel injected, 955 cc, three-cylinder engine – revised for 2006 with a new cylinder head, crankcases and visually neater exterior – punching out a solid 104 bhp peak power output matched by a walloping 67 ft.lbs. torque. Further refinement is added by a backlash eliminator gear and slicker shifting gearbox. The Tiger’s motor is the very definition of real-world drivability. Its character instantly involves the rider and its unflagging, completely linear response can always be relied upon. An upright, comfortable riding position gives a commanding view of the road ahead and scenery flashing by. The Tiger’s quick steering frame geometry has rake set at 25.8 degrees, trail at 92 mm with a wheelbase of 59.6 inches. The compliant front forks employ single rate springs while the rear shock’s spring preload can be remotely adjusted. The cast, 14-spoke, aluminum wheels take tubeless tires – 110/80 V19 front and 150/70 V17 rear. The Tiger’s rugged enduro styling exudes toughness and the far horizon is the Tiger’s destination. It thrives on an all-day riding challenge and lives for the journey, two-up and fully loaded. But when it comes to a sinuous, twisting switchback or daily commute to work the Tiger’s equally at home. With practical touches like the large 6.3-gallon US fuel tank, lockable hard cases and hand guards as standard plus the efficient, frame mounted fairing to keep the windblast and weather at bay the Tiger’s usability factor multiplies. The seat height also adjusts through a 20 mm range. As with all Triumphs, an extensive range of accessories is available – including soft luggage and fender extensions. Silver frame and wheels complement the three color options of Jet Black, reintroduced by popular demand, Aluminum Silver and Caspian Blue. It’s been said that the journey is sometimes as important as the destination. The Tiger’s one of those bikes that helps prove this theory. There are very few genuine all-round motorcycles around – the Tiger is one of them.

This motorcycle truly epitomizes the spirit of Triumph. Agile, fun, punchy, brimming with character, up for anything and great to look at. Its 675 cc three-cylinder engine bubbles, growls and wails as you wind it up through the gears and, thanks to an all-new chassis, the handling is now even sharper and more intuitive than it's ever been. And that’s saying something. The bodywork is new too. Colors appear as sharp slashes down the length of the bike from the slender tail section to the lean-looking tank, narrow radiator side cover and the front mudguard. Neatly finished by the striking new wheel design. You’ll find yourself using the Street Triple for anything from track days to traffic busting. We’ve created a machine that can turn the dullest regular commute into pleasure trip.

2007 is a big year for Tiger fans with the release of the brand new Triumph Tiger 1050, a major evolutionary step in the model’s history. While its sharp lines and performance spec make the Tiger’s sporting credentials clear from a glance, its stunning looks hide a practical streak: Take a Tiger two-up touring way off into the wilds and you’ve got a bike that comfortably devours miles of tarmac. The relaxed riding position, spacious seat, supple suspension and tractable torquey engine guarantee you arrive fresh at the end of the longest day. Next, ditch the bags, go it alone and head for a bit of fun at strange angles. Tucked into a brilliantly balanced chassis, the Tiger’s potent engine delivers power and ear to ear grins. Then it’s back to the city where the Tiger slinks through snarled up traffic and the sleek lines look sharp as a knife. Here the commanding view really comes into its own, giving the rider the jump on everyone, while the wide bars make tight maneuvers child’s play. Soft luggage holds the day’s essentials. At the new Tiger’s heart is the amazing 1,050 cc, fuel-injected, three-cylinder engine. This motor, known for its addictive character, has plenty of torque and impressive amounts of horsepower, with ample reserves of both for those two-up fully laden tours. Peak power of 114 bhp is delivered at 9,400 rpm, with 74 ft. lbs. of torque at 6,250 rpm. It has all the all-round practicality and comfort of the old Tiger – a broad, supportive seat for rider and pillion, relaxed ergonomics and efficient half fairing and screen – but also a composure and sporting ability that few, if any, will be able to match. The twin-spar aluminum frame housing the 1,050 cc engine is new as is the braced aluminum swingarm. New too are the cast aluminum wheels, both are now 17-inches allowing a wider choice of tires; the front tire’s a 120/70 ZR17, the rear a 180/55 ZR17. The 43 mm upside down fully adjustable forks and remote spring preload and rebound damping adjustable rear shock provide an almost magic carpet-like ride over the most varied of surfaces, from the roughest tarmac to the smoothest blacktop asphalt. Twin four-piston radial calipers bite 320 mm front discs, the rear 255 mm disc uses a single twin-piston caliper. The Tiger’s seat height is a manageable 835 mm (32.9-inch), matched to a dry weight of 416-pounds. Fuel capacity is 5.2 gallons, giving an excellent touring range. Supremely comfortable, two-up tourer; sporty solo funster or sleek, stylish city bike: There are very few genuine all-round motorcyc

Laid back and relaxed, the Thunderbird is exactly the way a cruiser should be. But, on top of that, Triumph engineering has added superior performance and handling without ever diluting what the Thunderbird is all about. The engine itself is unique in its class, a classic Triumph parallel-twin. And the styling is pure cruiser with sweeping lines, low seat and high bars. But like any Triumph it's highly practical too, and perfectly feasible as an everyday commuter. A long, low, fat-tired, chromed up, everyday commuter.
