Up for sale is my Triumph Legend TT 900 1999 cafe racer. Made in Hinckley, UK. Clean Title.Bike is in a secured area so to see it you will have to tell your name, the vehicle you will drive that day and show a valid ID to the security when you come. That bike is not finished but it is way more than a project. It runs and about that runs like hell. All the rear is 100% hand-made by me and despite all the modifications and additions the bike can be totally reverted to original. Seat is a Triumph and I made the fixations. All frame/wheels bearings were changed (steering, rear wheel, front wheel). The chassis is lubed (swing-arm, shock linkage) and there is no extra-play there.Rear rim is a 17'' Excel Takasago extra-large and the tire is a 180/55 ZR 17 (vs 160/60 ZR 17 originally). Both sprockets are new. The fork was rebuilt and contains new oil.All cables were lubed. Gas cable is new.Mufflers are D&D. Foam pods on the carbs. New crankcase vent filter. Engine recently tuned.Tires are good , Front is like new. Rear 60 to 70 %.New euro handlebars, new mirrors, new cushioned grips (Beston). I also have a pair of bar-end mirrors.New headlight fixations rubbers (the ones between the 2 T's).New battery. New blinkers. New horn. All the electrics were followed through and are clean.New rear axle (it is a 2002 "one-piece" model vs the "two-pieces" model on the 1999).The bike comes with the manual, a number of new parts and liquids as seen on the picts. If correct sale price, you would keep the Craftsman lift. I would also give you a pair of steering ultra flat wrenches and the wooden stand. You will be given a number of templates I used to build the rear.As original parts, I have a seat in relatively good shape with its bad cover removed + a rear rotor that is in medium shape. The brake rotors on the bike are excellent. The new owner will have to redo the oil change thread of the sump (currently a plug) and fix or change one of the small water outlets (cheap but there is a pin hole in it). Paint could be better but still really cool like that. The front brake line is the correct length but is not the correct orientation on the reservoir. Based on the age of the bike you should rebuild the brakes but they are both working perfect (I have most of the parts as you can see on the picts). Rubber chain guide and chain will be needed... And that's it.I will take the time to show the potential new owner the good and the wrong. The bike will need to be hauled on a trailer or on a truck. No trades. No warranty. No delivery. No shipping. No returns. I put all my heart in that build. Payment at my local bank. Thank you for reading.
