1968 TRIUMPH T100R DAYTONA ***WATCH VIDEO ABOVE FOR A CLOSER LOOK*** Barn fresh and used as aesthetic display in my collection. Numbers matching frame/engine/title. Strong compression, working brakes, carb slides are free and tires hold air. I have never tried to start it. Just used it for its unique history and hand built parts for people to admire. Previous owner/builder used it for off road scrambles and hill climbing in Southern IL. and Indiana back in the 1970's and early '80's. Fuel tank is divided in half (left side oil tank/right side fuel). Custom seat section for better off road handling. That is about all I can say about it. It is SUPER cool. Comes with clear, open Illinois title. Matching numbers. Cheers Rules for buying: Shipping: Shipping costs are the buyers responsibility but I will work out the details with your shipper to load the bike up. I highly recommend Haulbikes.com and Keyboard Transports 100%. Bike is sold "As Is" and "Where Is". No warranty expressed or implied obviously BUT if you are in the area you are welcome and encouraged to come and physically inspect it anytime you like. I'm not an expert on these things so PLEASE ask anything anytime. I'm happy to answer. Nothing to hide here. Paying: 1) CASH IN HAND IS KING and I prefer handshake, FACE-TO-FACE transactions. 2) BANK TO BANK WIRE 3) CASHIERS' CHECKS PAYPAL IS NOT PREFERRED! I DO NOT LIKE PAYPAL AND I THINK THEIR FEES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! HOWEVER IF YOU WANT TO USE PAYPAL,YOU WILL HAVE TO BE LIABLE FOR THE EXTRA FEES. SORRY...BUT IT'S JUST RIDICULOUS WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR BASICALLY DOING NOTHING.

**WINTER ICE COLD START VIDEO ABOVE** 1967 TRIUMPH RETRO "CAFE RACER" WITH RARE, EARLY '70'S TRACY "ELIMINATOR" BODY KIT: Bike is part of a private collection. Runs and rides EXCELLENT! No mechanical issues whatsoever. Built by: B & D Cycles Triumph Restorations of Clinton, WI. Cosmetically in beautiful shape as well. Tracy body is solid and finished in high quality "Team Triumph" blue/white. Tank was properly lined to resist ethanol fuel damage to fiberglass. Not many of these Tracy bodies survived the '70s in this nice of condition... or at all. Stored in a climate controlled environment and ridden on a fairly regular basis. Numbers matching T120 frame and motor. TR6 head (had to be used to fit the Tracy body kit). Engine was completely rebuilt a couple of years ago. Clubman bars, Bates headlight and Mighty Mite electronics with capacitor. Reverse magaphone mufflers, '68 front wheel and brake assembly laced to a Borrani Shoulder rim. Tires and tubes are excellent. Bike is ready to ride and enjoy right now. No worries. VERY STRONG RUNNER!! PLENTY OF POWER!! A VERY cool, clean and unusual bike for not a lot of money. You will NOT park next to someone on another Triumph like this... period. This is actually the first Tracy "Eliminator" body Triumph I have ever seen in person. Thanks for looking and best of luck. Ask anything, anytime. Cheers Shipping: Shipping costs are the buyers responsibility but I will work out the details with your shipper to load the bike up. I recommend Uship, Keyboard Motorcycle Shippers and Haulbikes. Bike is sold "As Is" and "Where Is". WATCH VIDEO ABOVE FOR MORE DETAILS. SERIOUS, SINCERE BUYERS/COLLECTORS ONLY PLEASE. This is a VERY special motorcycle and part of my personal collection. You cannot build this bike for this price. I have far too many vintage British motorcycles at the moment and it is WAY too overwhelming for me to maintain and keep them all. I NEVER had any plans to sell this bike but situations in life have changed and now it is being offered. This bike has so much history around here in this area it is hard to type it all out. HARD to put a price on it as well. Bikes of this nature do NOT surface very often. 1962 TRIUMPH TR6SS PRE UNIT "FLATTRACKER" Bike was owned, raced and maintained by Jim "Birdie" Byers here in southern IN. from 1965 until 2005. I feel it is important and vital for the new owner to know just who owned this bike and what it meant to him. So here is a little history on Jim: Obituary for James A. "Birdie" Byers BOONVILLE — James A. "Birdie" Byers, 60, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005. Birdie was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association and National Rifle Association. He was a professional motorcycle racer on the Flat Track Racing Circuit from 1965 to 1970. His bike was a '62 Triumph Trophy and his number was 73H. As for the bike: Clean and clear title in my name for easy transfer. Bike is titled off of the engine #'s. Can be EASILY plated and street ridden. Brake and taillights are working and I do street ride it. Birdie raced this bike all over. Springfield, IL., Duquoin, IL., Knoxville, TN., Indianapolis, IN. and MANY more places. Both TT, 1/2 mi and vintage short track. All machine work was done by Don's Cycle Shop in Rockport, IN. Frame is an early Triumph "Pre Duplex" frame. Engine is a Hubert "Sonny" Routt 825cc Big bore "Twin". TR6SS lower end with splayed port head (ALL VALVES, GUIDES, SPRINGS FRESH) Slick shift 4 speed transmission Twin Mikuni 34mm's Mity Max system Lucas magneto Conical front wheel from a '70 Tri. New Avon tires (more street friendly). Taillight and brake lights all work excellent as well as the tachometer light (any headlight could be installed if you want to go back to street riding) ! Since I bought it from the family, it has been stored in my collection and started/ridden on special occasions. Bike runs and rides EXCELLENT!!!!! Bike is SUPER FAAAAASSSSSTTT! Pulls like a MULE! Again, a VERY special machine that will be greatly missed but hopefully the new owner will appreciate just how special it is and take it out to show it off. That's about it. Feel free to call me if you have any questions about the bike: (812)631-7790 Bike is sold "As Is" and "Where Is". No warranty expressed or implied obviously BUT if you are in the area you are welcome and encouraged to come and physically inspect the bike anytime you like. PLEASE ask or request addition pics if you need them. I'm happy to do that anytime. Trying to cover every square inch of a large, antique bike can be difficult so bare with me. Nothing to hide here. SHIPPING: I use Keyboard Motorcycle Shippers and Haulbikes.com. I will work with you on this end and assist any way I can. Paying: I prefer cash in hand and a handshake but will take a cashiers' check or bank-to-bank wires and I will work with you from start to finish 100% on shipping the car. However shipping costs are buyers responsibility. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ARE WELCOME! NO PAYPAL UNLESS YOU PAY THE FEES! I DO NOT LIKE PAYPAL AND I THINK THEIR FEES ARE OUTRAGEOUS!
