2002 Triumph Daytona 955I, For sale or possible trade is my 2002 Triumph Daytona. This is not the single side swingarm CE edition. I bought the bike last year in running condition although it had electrical problems (common regulator rectifier problem in some triumph models). I replaced the regulator rectifier with an aftermarket one and the battery now receives a solid ~14V charge while running. It does still need to be soldered in if that is something you want to do. The bike isn't perfect. It sat for a while with the previous owner in a garage (I don't know how long) and over time lost some fairing screws (I replaced most all of them) and a drover seat clamp (one holds it on so it isn't an issue). The under seat clamp for the driver seat is in my opinion and you'll need a small socket or wrench to remove the seat. One of the previous 2 owners installed a Scorpion race exhaust that looks and sounds great however the bike was not dyno'd or tuned for the exhaust so it does run lean. I've only put about 150-200 miles on it since purchasing and haven't gotten around to getting one installed. A representative at RPM Motorcycle said this was most likely the solution and they charge about $250 for the PC. My plan here in the near future was to get the PC installed, the bike remapped, and a full service and it'll be ready to roll. The bike runs and rides now however as previously mentioned should be remapped for optimal performance. It isn't perfect and I'm not a mechanic but a mechanical engineering major so I have mechanical inclination. The bike has never been laid over, it isn't scratched up save for normal scratching on the belly pan from road debris. Being an inline 3 this bike will ROAR when let loose. I don't stunt or do tricks on my bikes so this has been taken care of by me. I'm selling mainly to get a cheaper bike and gather money for home projects since I acquired this bike shortly before buying my first home. If there are any questions I can be reached at the info provided. 330-407-lll5 $3,800.00 EDIT: The rear tire in the 3rd photo is not bad. The white ring around the tire is from the drive way. Both tires are good.
