1967 Triumph Bonneville 650cc – UK Edition A unique opportunity to acquire a rare UK-spec classic. I originally purchased this example in 1986 in the UK. It was restored, ridden and exhibited in various UK shows. In 1997, I immigrated to the USA, bringing the motorcycle with me. It was subsequently fully and professionally restored by Bill Hoard, of Midland MI in 2007 – the restoration entailed a complete strip-down of both engine and cycle parts. The engine was blueprinted and balanced, frame powder-coated, tank and mudguards painted and parts replaced as necessary. The engine and frame numbers match (DU66088) and all parts are authentic, with one exception. It is now fitted with electronic ignition, which for those who have wrestled with Lucas 4CA contact breakers will understand! The Certificate of Authenticity indicates that this motorcycle left the Meriden factory on June 6th 1967.
