2008 Can-Am Spyder RS SM5, 2008 Spyder GS with just under 30K miles for sale. Bike runs strong and has given me very little trouble. This is a great bike for beginners, those looking for a little more comfort and a little more safety or those who might have difficulty handling a heavier 2 wheeler. But it has plenty of engine, I've done 600+ mile road trips on it without an issue. All service records in pdf form since bike was new are included. For simple maintenance like oil changes I have receipts. The expensive 24,000 mile service was done by a dealer and I have the receipt. Bike includes removable locking factory hard luggage with matching bag linders. Rear sport rack installed with small storage space underneath. Kisan headlight modulator installed that will blink headlights rapidly during daylight hours to improve visibility. Front trunk has trunk liner and 12V power plug installed. A 12V power cable comes out to the dash to power a GPS or radar detector. Clutch cover has a 1" RAM ball mount installed to mount a GPS, cell phone, or Go Pro. I also installed a small waterproof button on the dash and wired it to a Chamberlain garage remote. Remote comes with it or I can remove / swap it for another brand. I installed nice metal mesh screens instead of the original plastic ones (see pictures). Skid plate, air dam, and heat shield installed from . Small factory tank bag included but the plastic is splitting on its map pocket. The plastic "tank" fairing has a paint protector installed. Passenger foot peg extensions are installed since my wife is 6' tall. Shocks were replaced with ones taken off of a late model RT. Much smoother ride than the worn out stock shocks. A faded rain cover is included with a small tear near right front wheel. I have a Bushmaster trailer hitch I bought used. I bought a new set of bolts for it and had it powder coated before I realized the hard bags and trailer hitch cannot be installed at the same time. The wiring harness is ugly but all the pieces are there if you want a trailer hitch (but you will have to lose the hard bags). The bad: The boy melted some shoe material on the exhaust. The bike is well ridden and there are some scuffs and chips in the paint. One of the keys has some rubber missing. $8,500.00
