Harley Davidson 2009 improvements from previous model years: new modular frame, longer stronger swing arms (longer wheelbase), re-routed exhaust (rider comfort), wider rear tire, Engine idle temperature management system (rider comfort). HISTORY: ** Rebuilt ** Previous Salvage title** I purchased this bike in 2011 with 12,773 miles as a salvage bike with minimal damage. The following repairs is what I did to get the bike back on the road: Straightened and welded the small mounting tab for the chrome engine guard, REPLACED: engine guard, outer front fairing, RH saddle bag w/2008 cover & repaired touring pack to the best of my abilities, painted the front fender, inner fairing & lower fairings and fixed a small dent on the tank and airbrushed bullet hole effect over that repair....I've put 21,000 miles on this bike with no issues.... Runs and rides great. DETAILS: Painted Fairing with chrome gauge ring trim & switch plate. The Red Hot Sunglo really jumps out in the sun. The Garmin Zumo GPS is included (needs a new mount) I have to charge off USB computer cord.Does have some small flaws, a couple chips on the lower fairings, RH lower fairing has been touched up (Hidden by engine guard though) a scratch on touring pack, break in tour pack that's been glued on the inside & road rash on one chrome bar show in pics. I have a Road Glide rear wheel rim on the bike only because when I purchased a new tire it was already mounted on that rim and it was cheaper to install it that way. I have the original rear rim for the bike but the tire is bald... I can install the correct rear rim back on if you want to purchase the new tire or can be negotiated in on purchase. Installed NEW battery this spring. I've tried to describe as best I can...Please email me with any questions or additional photo request. I have 3 pics of the bike when I purchased it in 2011 if you would like to see it had minimal damage when I purchased the bike. This has been a good bike for me and other than the few minor flaws listed is very reliable and has many miles of service left to give.
