A strong lightweight aluminum-alloy twin-spar frame supports the DL1000 and provides a 60.5-inch wheelbase and 32.8-inch seat height. Dual 310mm rotors are mounted up front and a 260mm disc is mounted at the rear. In the rear an aluminum-alloy swingarm is mated to a piggyback-reservoir shock with adjustable rebound damping and a convenient knob-operated spring-preload adjuster. Front suspension consists of 43mm cartridge forks with adjustable spring preload. the versatile V-Strom combines the performance of a proven V-twin powerplant with nimble handling aggressive styling and a comfortable riding position. Wheels are lightweight cast-aluminum-alloy units with radial tires. Motorcycles Standard/Naked 7725 PSN . Approximately 6 inches of wheel travel is available both front and rear. A slim easy-to-read instrument cluster multi-reflector headlights and dual sport tires are also standard equipment.
