2005 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, This bike has almost all of the upgrades that most V-strom owners want: Recently replaced chain and sprockets - 1 tooth larger rear sprocket for better acceleration. Fork brace to minimize front fork flex. Upgraded, 4-piston front brake calipers with Galfer SS lines and pads. Big improvement in stopping power! Front forks have .95kg springs from Race Tech, as the stock ones were too soft. Rear shock is an upgraded unit from Progressive Suspension with remote preload adjustment. Givi Crash bars to protect the bike in case of a fall. Speedo healer to correct speedometer error from new gearing. Leo Vince slip-on exhaust for more power and a nice nice, throaty growl. (Stock exhaust also included) Power Commander V fuel injection module to smooth out throttle response. Fuse block for adding electrical accessories and cigarette-style power plug installed on the dash. Heated grips - which are awesome on cold mornings! Mirror extensions to give you a better view of what's going on behind you. Accessory (RAM) mounts for GPS, phone, GoPro, etc. Kaoko throttle lock for those long highway stints. Mad Stad windscreen bracket. Allows for tool-less windscreen adjustment. Second, lower seat for folks with a shorter inseam. I'm happy to allow test-rides, but I request cash in-hand before doing so. 2005 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, ~55,600 Miles - mostly highway/commuting. The original owner used the bike to commute from Lompoc to Santa Barbara, so most of the miles are easy, freeway miles. CA Registered through March 2016 I have performed many of the upgrades that most V-strom owners want: Recently replaced chain and sprockets - 1 tooth larger rear sprocket for better acceleration.
