SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material)-plated cylinders reduce friction and improve heat transfer and durability. Both cylinder heads feature Suzuki s original Dual Spark Technology for greater combustion efficiency, better fuel economy and cleaner emission. The fuel injection system employs Suzuki s innovative, SDTV (Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve) with 39mm throttle bodies. The secondary throttle valves are controlled by servo motor for smooth power delivery and optimum combustion efficiency. Ten-hole; long-nosed type fuel injectors on each throttle body improves fuel atomization for better combustion efficiency and while reducing fuel consumption. The EFI system employs O2 feedback and a precise intake pressure sensor for optimum combustion efficiency in various conditions, and reduces emissions to an incredibly low level. Suzuki s patented, Throttle-body Integrated Idle Speed Control (TI-ISC) eases starting, stabilizes the engine idle speed and helps lower emissions. The system is compact and lightweight. 2006 Suzuki Sv650 , I am selling this bike because I bought it as a starter bike, which it did wonderful in that aspect, and am now looking to get a super sport. Which means I am also willing to trade (and maybe with some cash on top) towards and r6 or gsxr600 (prefferebly in multi color: blue, white). It has very high mid-range power so it runs perfectly on the highway. If your looking for a wonderful starter bike, or a more comfortable up-right riding position with a very smooth engine (v-twin) this is the bike for you. Not a lot of people have this bike in Colorado so it makes it unique in that aspect, also the 2006 blue color is my favorite since if you notice, all the other years sort of have this darker more dull blue to it while the 2006 model has a beautiful brighter blue. It's 2nd gen with a very modern black frame which I think compliments each other well. The downside: It was layed down VERY lightly on a dirt parking lot and has some scratches on the right lever and a very minor dent on the tank (really unnoticeable until you look close). Also the front suspension has some superficial cosmetic damage but nothing that would obscure its functionality. Other than that the price is negotiable if I find it reasonable.
