New tires installed Sept. 28. Valve adjustment and fuel-injection system synchronization completed at 9K mi. (service manager said this is the cleanest SV he has seen!). Extras include a Givi tail case, expandable rear seat bag, Sargent seat (plus stock seat), dual Fiamm Freeway Blaster horns (loud!), bar weights, and a Zero Gravity tinted windshield. Mileage just turned to 11K and will go up as I commute on the bike daily. I purchased my SV with only 500 miles on it from the original owner. I changed all fluids, completed the break-in procedure, and have used full synthetic oil ever since. This is a fun, flickable bike that's perfect for commuting, sport riding, or weekend trips. Ideal for beginners wanting to move up or for experienced riders. Special Edition paint makes this bike stand out from the usual SVs. ...and it runs on regular gas and always gets 55 - 59 mpg. I'm only selling because I want to get a dual-sport bike...If I had the garage space, I'd keep this SV - it's a fun ride!

This bike has been stored in a climate-controlled garage, out of the elements, its entire life. It is a heavily, yet very tastefully and professionally modified SV650. The most technically-challenging fabrication done on this bike was performed by the original owner. He is a very talented welder and machinist. All work was performed in his university engineering lab, or by other professionals. I will share the full set of build photos with the buyer, including a spreadsheet with corresponding meticulous notes. You'll see how many different rear shocks were test fit, how many different exhaust configurations were experimented with, and the overall care and expertise that went into building the best example of the SV650 I've ever seen. This is my fourth SV. My first was a '99 N (I put 60K miles on it over five years). Then I bought an '04 S new, and did very few mods to it. Then a used bone-stock '03 SV1K and, when I realized the motor in the 1K was too unpredictable, and the brakes and suspension too inadequate for that much power, I took my time finding the perfect second gen SV650, and this was it. Since taking ownership, my goals with this bike were two-fold: to turn it into a proper hooligan streetfighter, and to adjust the ergonomics to be as comfortable as possible with purposes of being a very comfortable sport touring motorcycle. I'll concede that it's too light to be ideal for consecutive 500-mile days on the highway, even though I've done this, but it is a proper street fighter in every way while maintaining 95% of the reliability and ease-of-maintenance that an OEM sportbike has. The following is a list of mods conducted by the original owner: •2007 Suzuki GSX-R Complete Front-End •2007 Suzuki GSX-R Front Wheel, Black Powder-Coated •Wide 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 Rear Wheel, Black Powder-Coated •Wide 190/50-17 Conti-Motion Rear Tire •2006 Kawasaki ZZR Swing Arm •Custom Slip-On w/ Custom Downpipe •Custom Satin Black Paint w/ White Vinyl Stripes •Aftermarket Dual Headlights •Aftermarket Fiberglass Belly Pan •Custom-Fabricated Rear Fender •Smoked Taillight w/ Integrated Turn Signal Emulators •2006 Kawasaki ZX10 Rear Shock Revalved w/ 9.3kg/mm Spring Rate •Aftermarket Adjustable Brake and Clutch Levers, Gold Anodized The following is a list of mods I did myself over the last 18 months: •LSL Superbike Handlebars, Black •LSL Top Triple-Clamp, CNC-Machined Billet Aluminum •Spiegler Braided Stainless Steel Front Brake Lines •Motion-Pro Braided Stainless Steel Throttle Cables •Motion-Pro Braided Stainless Steel Clutch Cable •Aftermarket Powder-Coated Aluminum Stalk Mirrors, Black •Vario 40mm Offset Adjustable Footpegs, Black •Motech Alu-Rack Top Case Rack, Black •Shad Quick-Release Top-Case Plate, Black •Shad SH45 45-Liter Top Case, Black (holds two full-face helmets) The following items were replaced within the last 100 miles by Pompton Motorsports: •New Brake Pads (rear, front are still good) •New Sprockets (front and rear) •New Chain •New Battery Some quirks a potential new owner should know about: •The ignition is mounted in-between the frame on the left side •The black satin paint does not have a clear coat on it, so it is becoming more dull/matte over time •The gauges do not show speed / mileage (if you like you can fix with a magnet kit, or add a Veypor or equivalent), all other instruments including tach work perfectly I really love this bike but just purchased a stock Triumph which I plan to customize and unfortunately can't keep both bikes living in a city with such crazy parking issues. The garage where I park only allows two bikes in my space and my girlfriend's bike is taking up the other spot (the things we do for love). I am only slightly flexible on the price, depending on which parts and accessories you may or may not want. I'd be happy to remove items to bring the cost down for you.

I have a 2007 SV650S/R that NEEDS ABOLUTELY NOTHING! 8,217 miles. It will go up slightly as I ride it here and there. Runs amazing. Has the M4 High mount exhaust. It has the zx10r rear shock, .90 racetech springs. Has a +2 Superlite Sprocket in the rear with a 520 chain on it. Tires have 1500 miles on them, has a fender eliminator. I have the rear end raised 5/8" ( Have stock dog bones to lower it down to stock height). Has SVRACNGParts rearset adapters. Many more mods. It has been involved in a low speed lowside (10mph in gravel). NO dents, scratch on front fairing(in picture) and some rash on the slider. Feel free to ask questions.Oil changed with Repsol full synthetic just under 1500 miles ago. Tires have 2000 miles on them. If the final sale is significant enough, I'll include both a front and rear stand, spare rear tire, and enough oil for another oil change. Maintenance is on point and READY TO RIDE.All mods were done within 2000 miles. The bike is also on craigslist so I reserve all rights to end the auction. Thanks919-946-3023-Mike

Here you are looking at a 2001 Suzuki SV650s with the SVXR fairings. These fairings are only made in England, and they are build to order, realistically this is the main value of the bike. I bought the bike to have a project, but currently have no more extra money to keep the bike. Couple weeks ago I took the bike out and for some reason it lost the power, and is not wanting to stay running on its own. The bike does start, especially seems to start better when cold. Also when running, while holding the throttle about third of the way, it starts shooting out flames out of the exhaust, to me it seems like a carb issue. Overall the bike is definitely an eye turner, I am not a professional, but I did spend some time on the paint job and other small details of the bike. As mentioned in the description, this bike does have imperfections though, just being honest about it (if you have any questions, feel free to ask). Hopefully there is nothing serious with the bike (when it comes to the motor) and just a simple fix with the carbs for someone with experience. Overall this bike is one of a kind, and with this fairing kit, probably one of very few in United States. Also I will include the SVXR single seat conversion, this is still bare fiberglass, if wanted! Feel free to send an offer, we will go from there. Thanks for looking!

SUZUKI SV650-S IN THE SHOWCASE HOUSE OF FUN!! HEY CHECK THIS OUT , VOTED ONE THE BEST USED BIKE BY CYCLE WORLD! 72 HP AND 46 FT POUNDS OF TORQUE WILL GET YOU THRU THE 1/4 MILE AT 11.9 SECONDS DOING A BUCK TWENTY NINE MILES PER HOUR(129mph) , NOT TOO SHABBY FOR A CROSS SPORT STYLE BIKE..PERFECT BIKE FOR THE BEGINNER OR THE EXPERT RIDER, THIS BIKE WILL LITERALLY DO IT ALL..6 SPEED TRANS, FUEL INJECTED, AND ONLY 5800 MILES. SPRINGS COMING...WHAT WILL YOU BE RIDING THIS YEAR? HERE'S WHY THE BIKE WON BEST USED BIKE...Why it won: In one of the several road tests Cycle World conducted of this popular Suzuki over the years, we suggested that maybe the “SV” in the bike’s model designation stood for “surprisingly versatile.” That’s because if you left off-road riding and around-the-world two-up touring off the list, there was very little the SV650 couldn’t do—and do well. Beginners loved it for its user friendliness and complete ease of operation, and experts found it a fun, rewarding tool for everything from daily commuting to weekend moseying to backroad scratching and even club roadracing. In 2001, Suzuki introduced the SV650S, the same motorcycle but with a nice half-fairing and clip-on handlebars, giving the serious knee-draggers a little more ammo. ABS models were added in 2007, and both bikes remained in the lineup until 2009, when only the S was offered. FEEL FREE TO CALL WITH QUESTIONS...815-577-0000 THANKS!!

For sale is a 2009 Suzuki SV650S in great condition. The bike has always been garage kept and used for commuting and touring. There are no additions to the bike and it is in stock condition with relatively low mileage. It has always been kept on a batter tender and stored with fuel stabilizer through the winter and has never had an issue starting. I am the second owner since 2010 and I'm selling because I no longer ride the bike. The previous owner laid the bike down at walking speeds and caused some cosmetic damage. The damage is described in the condition description and pictured. For more pictures and higher resolution pictures please visit: Flickr Photos Included in the sale is: - 2009 Suzuki SV 650 (2 keys) - Battery Tender with connection wired into motorcycle's battery (not pictured) - Kryptonite Disc Lock Premium with 3 keys - Full motorcycle cover (not pictured)
